Where do you gather i dont think they should be represented? The person i quoted implying it was a lie that someone said he personally knew no homosexuals, which can be true on a personal level, seeing as they make up such a small portion of the population. Homosexuals are representated above and beyong in number, the real problem often is the quality of their representation. Notice how i said bisexuals are over representated in mass effects and not homosexuals. As far as im aware there is only 1 clear homosexual character, everyone elses thats not straight swing both ways, clear over representation. Bringing me to the same conclusion, problem is the quality of the representation.

BTW i dont have a single jewish personal friend or family member. Doesent mean i hate jewish people, propably never met any i had a thing with. I dont seek specific demographic to be my friends.

It's possible to not be good friends with a gay person, especially in a small social circle, but to try to claim you never meet a gay person in your life, much less in a day, is nearly statistically impossible.

I would think that to those opposed to it, they would define it as the desire to inject their gay cultural and sexual norms into everything in our society without backlash against it in the name of acceptance. Keep in mind, I understand that just like hetero people, there are both conservative and more openly gay people. However, the vision anyone who doesn't interact often with gays gets, are the "flaming" ones, out there fighting for their cause by being extremely open in public and overstepping public norms of what many people find uncomfortable even from hetero couples. If gays want to win the war of public opinion, they need to disassociate gay as a sexual preference, which is a valid argument, from the fringe who show us they really want society to be more openly sexual.

I think part of this issue is that straight people, in general, are completely oblivious to how often and how blatantly they display their own sexual orientation.

I'm not one much for getting on the "privilege" wagon, but in this case straight privilege is definitely a thing, at least in US culture.
