99% of mounts what you guys post here are not rare at all. Pretty much every single mount from old raids whart you can solo now completly lost its rarity as anyone can get them for free.

Well aren't you a barrel of laughs. Mimiron's Head might be more common than it used to be but if http://guildox.com/popular/mounts is even close to accurate, 'every second player' is a huge exaggeration.

Yes, the majority of so-called 'rare' mounts are easy enough to obtain nowadays by anyone who has the time to farm them. Technically that would also apply to the five world boss mounts since 'anyone can get them for free'. So I'm not sure what you have in mind by a 'rare' mount that is actually still obtainable - unless you think this thread should be for Gladiator mounts, the unobtainable ones from the BMAH and mounts people got way back when they actually were still 'rare'. Would make for a pretty boring thread, if so because funnily enough, those are so rare that practically no-one has them.

You can get them for "free", but they're still locked behind low drop rates. You sound rather sour I must say.

I don't care if the raid mounts are classified as rare or not, I check this thread daily and love seeing the screenshots all the same, helps keep me motivated. Some mounts are more accessible now but I still love hearing about when someone gets that 1% drop. Or when someone has extremely great RNG or wants to vent because that last damn Invasion mount just refuses to show it's face. It can still take hundreds or tries for these mounts!

I got the Karazhan mount and then the Sea turtle from a shipyard mission (ship with fishing net) a few hours later a couple days ago. Was pretty exciting, no sacrifices required :P

Every time a mount drops, I sacrifice a Left Shark upon the sacred altar of RNGesus to thank him for his bounty.

(I only have the mount from Rukhmar so far, but it dropped after 15 kills so I guess it must be working)

Currently I have 38 left sharks, I'll give that a shot!

Think i have majority of old raid mounts that i can solo on my mage, missing Kara mount, Deathwing mount. But other than that, need to head into MoP raids, and my poor mage can't handle that at this point. Hopefully come legion, the 1.5m+ health or something is enough for HC WoD on a Warlock or something, but my mage will be limited to MoP raids.

By the attempts in rarity, it looks like he had 2 mounts drop not 3. the other I guess the user already had it from a previous run.
