Ok you're right. Sometimes people say racist stuff and no one notices it and then nothing happens. So I guess I should have been more specific. The point is that if a comment has gone viral and is being noticed because of racist commentary, that happened because it has generated an angry response which gets people worked up, which is basically inciting violence. And just because incitements of violence don't always translate directly into violence, the fact that they have the potential to do so is a good reason to avoid them.

Look. Aside from the fun I was having earlier my position is this. A privately owned area can do what they want with the content in that area. They can remove you if they want to. I would agree with Youtube's right to do such but how I feel about it is a separate area and technically irrelevant.

What is free speech and what isn't, varies from country to country. Here in Sweden, expressing disrespect can be enough to get you convicted for hate speech.
