It's a pity if he doesnt want.
Arthas is one of the most intersting characters and his story would make a great movie.
When did he say that however ?

As for Thrall, the reason they left in the first place was because Medivh warned them of a coming Legion attack.

He didn't. He said he's only thinking about three movies. That doesn't mean they won't get to make more or that he won't be the director.

That said, I don't think he should chain himself too much to a franchise of blockbusters this early in his career.

Makes sense to me, Duncan will probably want to do something else after having hypothetically made a trilogy of Warcraft movies. Besides, the Arthas story has a darker setting to it (The Scourge, Northrend etc.), so a different take on that story to set it apart from the orcs and humans conflict would be nice.

On a side note, I hope they include Ner'zhul at some point in the trilogy to seed the Arthas story properly.

I'm guessing we will be introduced to a minor character named Leeroy who will die. Another character will fly into a fit of rage and fly at his attackers, yelling "LEEEEEROOOOY"

In case no one track it, Warcraft has the solid chances to become the most successfull Hollywood movie in China. Right now pre sales for it are gonna crush Fast Furious 7 results, that got 300+ mln in China. There are even rumours that its gonna challenge the Mermaid, Chinese movie that got 500+ mlns $ in China only.

There's no such thing as a "100%" anything. People aren't purebred. But the average chinese facial structure is much rounder, the skin is much darker and the eyes are smaller. That lady has some evident caucasian features, some of which we associate with high elves because the ones in the games have always been caucasian.

The real counter-argument is that those features aren't necessary when the ears, eyebrows and eyeglow are much more distinguishable. Which means an asian person with strong asian features, such as the man in the trailer, is perfectly fine.

Since Universal take a part only as distributor, while Legendary now is the part of Chinese conglomerate Wanda that has the theater in China, it doesnt matter how much money Unviersal will get. Its insignificant. Most important is how much money Wanda will get. And it will definitely be more than 25%.

We all need to understand that Warcraft movie franchise now in fact belongs to Chinese company, not USA one. They can easily show the big F to Universal and find another distributor. And the fate of WCU totally depends on Wanda. If Wanda will see that Warcraft is huge in China, we will get sequels. They arent fools, they seek for investments. China government supports China cinematography and cinema market. China wants to beat USA in domestic box office. And Warcraft Franchise is the best (!) tool to do that. Warcraft Movies will bring more investments. Im pretty sure they are gonna make a sequel no matter how it will make out in the USA.

Of course there are exceptions to the rules, but that doesn't really change anything. Most people in China looks really similar, as far as face structures go. They tend to have the same type of facial features. Of course there are subtle differences, but my point is they look a very distinct way on a general levle. That is not racism, that's just fucking fact. Here's another one: Asians don't have blonde hair unless they have very diluted (no negative connotations) blood. It's just how fucking DNA works.
Or are you one of those people who refuse to acknowledge that on average, men are stronger than women? Is biology just a social construct to you?

That's exactly the thing. High Elves tend to have very long faces and high cheek bones. It's not as much a thing for girls, but for the guys it's more noticeable. Someone like Benedict Cumberbatch has a very High Elven face.

Yeah, including India. Indians are Asian, too, but that's not who people refer to when they say "Asians". The implications is that they are talking about someone who is either Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Korean, or otherwise match the stereotype. That's how it works in western society. I imagine there's something similar in Asian countries when referring to western people.
