I disagree, let's look at Donald Trump and every single senator more or less from an American southern state. They are all republican and all climate change deniers. To be republican and in a position of power is to have an inflexibility of opinion.

But seriously if anyone who comes to this forum and are looking to push or promote an agenda should get their head checked. It's one thing to exchange beliefs with people here. But this is a tiny corner of nowhereville.com. It's an entirely different matter for folks to delude themselves into thinking that fighting the good fight here is worth their time or effects any count of outcome in any way.

I've posted most of my posts in threads related to National Security and Russia. I've learned a lot from them. I've had many interesting conversations. And there aren't many places where you can actively engage Putinistas like here. But I'm under no illusions that any of the probably 100,000+ words I've written on the topic will change anything or that I'm actually accomplishing anything. At best, I'll learn something and someone will learn something from me and we'll both be pushed to learn more.

But the worst posters this forum has are the ones who start threads seeking to promote an agenda. Nobody cares. Not really. And nothing will ever come of them. In a weeks time it'll drop to page 10 and be forgotten forever.

Because it's not US only. It's full of Europeans. And even many rightwing European parties are considered leftwing by US standards.

The US already has border protection. Somehow the idea that the US has no border protection at all and people just walk freely in has become a common place belief.

The American public is center-right.

That is incorrect. Its true it used to be that way, but millennials lean much more leftward and as they have begun to replace right-leaning boomers the country has shifted towards a center-left stance. The whole republican shtick has been about using their political power to halt the implementation of the agenda of this center left majority. Its doomed to fail though - much like the tide, you can't stop demographics.

yes so fine we have one nation tinkering on bankrupcy, 4 others given huge bailouts and a very very serious migration issue causing more nations to look towards aright agenda..

Greek wasn't socialist when they entered bankruptcy. And Spain is recovering. Germany, France, Sweden and Finland seem to do fine though.
