We really just kind of laughed and few people were giggling, sort of funny and uncomfortable.

I'm not sure how people think that once caught doing something wrong, the best idea for dealing with getting caught is assaulting the person that caught you. It's a great way to turn "getting kicked out of the theater" into "getting charged with a felony."
