21. Been playing a ton with my guild.
Game's alright. Some of it is really good. Some of it is very, very deeply flawed. It's worth the $40 I paid on G2A.
Not bad for a first attempt though.

On the Illium map with the control point near the well, put the well behind your opponents and in they go with a right click. On the Temple with the control point in the middle with the huge pit on the sides hide in the room with the two side doors and when you see an opponent come to get the point skate out and pop them over the edge. Hopefully they will come as a group!
On The Japanese tower control point on the left or right side of the map the two side entries are excellent for pushing people over the edge. Lucio by himself forces the enemy to use the front door, especially good with a team mate who can give you sight through walls.
11 so far been having a ton of fun with my friends!!! When we re a full premade even if we re not playing at our best we win the games most of the time cause of communication!
I truly love the game so far! I hope constant updates and good care make it a great game over the passing of time
fun game but fuck me some people havnt got a clue what there doing.
Apparently im suppose to heal myself as bastion while fighting 3 people on a control point while the healer follows a sniper......
The game has been out for like 3 days, once it's newness wears off and the squirrels looking for shineys go away you will find a more generally skilled playerbase. If you just need to vent frustrations about everyone elses failures, well the line starts over there -> and it wraps around the planet so good luck.
I would really love to know three things.
Is it possible to set it so that you don't enter into a game that someone left?
Is there a way to turn off the ridiculous "tips" every time you die?
Is there a way to make it so that you don't end up grouped with/playing against someone again if they are toxic?
McCree... one of the heroes I don't really get. Sure I can execute with luck that flashbang+hammer combo that seems to kill anyone, but when I try him I seem to fail completely. His ult sounds fun, but I have yet to manage to kill anyone with it (0 kills even, if I count the open beta time). It alarms enemy, it basically makes you stand still and you have to stand still for a moment while enemy can see you. Not gonna work.
Genji is one of the heroes too that I can't seem to play. People kill me with him easily, but whenever I try him, only one who dies is me.
I dont think you can avoid joining a game in progress, I've personally turned some of these from obvious defeat into victories, on one occaision 2 really good Reinhardts were tearing up gibralter so I quickly switched to Sym and stopped their offense for a victory. That and even if you do lose one match as soon as the next starts you get a fresh start and matches rarely last over 15 mins.
I joined one to materialise and suddenly, "DEFEAT!!!" and I was cool with that because a second later we were starting fresh.
It is all about practice, just force yourself to play them and you will get better at them. For McCree it is about pin point accuracy head shots, you should train your brain to always shoot for heads no matter what game you play even if heads don't matter. In this game it does. For Genji I just started messing with him but basically at range use ninja stars, up close do a quick ninjastar/melee/shift attack and it will kill anything short of a tank, for tanks pepper with ninjastars first. Use your E as a get out of jail card or if you feel a sniper has a bead on you.
I'm around lvl 15 now I think.
So far me and my friends are doing well. We are trying out combos, lucio and mercy together with zarya is really good just so you know
We are winning quite much. But we were up against a team that had awesome aims all of them. We couldn't stand a chance. A shame though that you must leave game in order to open lockboxes, we would have loved going up against them again to figure out how on earth to beat them :P
My Lucio gameplay is improving, I'm ready for ranked! Or well, need 10 more levels but then Really looking forward to ranked play, will be very fun and challanging
Offensive bastion can work in the right hands, thing is they will rarely turret up. As for the rest the majority of unco-ordinated players will disapear regardless of ranked because squirrels always chase the shiniest nut and will naturally run off in some other ADHD direction when they see a new shiney.
I was in a "Waiting for more players" Deathmatch for like 30+ minutes. Didn't count towards rankings but it sure as hell was fun.
Its going well so far. I'm at the limit of frustration though when im playing payload and my team is attacking and everyone picks heroes that are terrible for escorting the payload and when you ask them to switch to help out they tell you to fuck off. Hopefully in time people will understand each mode and not treat it like a team deathmatch.
Maybe blizzard will let us choose which game mode we want to play. I honestly rather play point capture then escorting a payload
Level 13 I think, raging quite a bit more than I did in open beta---but raging for me is just a quick out burst at my PC rather than telling people they suck or some shit like that.
Always annoying when the team doesn't follow the Reinhardt and the speed boosting Lucio (me) onto the point, instead trying and failing to blow up some poor Torb's turret that wouldn't even be able to shoot us on point.
Shhhhh, she's doing magical trig bullshit trig substitutions
