I think I found the afflock one but can't confirm it because I got a book that starts a quest on my priest... except this book is reserved to lock only and by checking wowhead, it suggests it is related to the affliction weapon.

Does anyone have any quite up to date comparison dps performance logs? I know we are a bit away from launch but i want some basis to refersnce future patch notes too. and to help me decide what to play.

If you are deciding what to play based on beta logs, get ready to be disappointed later on.

Decide based on historical levels of performance for that class, and if you gel with the playstyle.

So holinka confirmed that there will be 4 prestige ranks on launch. That's a bummer since there are a couple of cool color variations locked behind prestige 7 and 13. But well, more stuff to aim for post-launch weeks.

Imo there is no better way to get tons of logs to get an idea on how specs are standing for tuning than enabling LFR.

Specially when we know how great the common lfr players are at their classes.

Spec tuning is all over the place right now. Some specs are in the dumpster atm, i was dpsing on dummies last night and to my irritation kept finding that my frost DK simply could not out-dps my mistweaver monk. I keep hearing that Ret is in a bad place too, but i dont personally play the spec so take it with a grain of salt.

If we listen to the people who play them, the list of ignored and neglected specialisations in Legion (and it's the same list as we had in Warlords, and Mists, and Cataclysm, and Wrath, and TBC, and Vanilla) encompasses almost all of them.

Blizzard hasn't reneged on any promises since LK and the Path of Titans - that's a fact.

Watching a work in progress video, or snap shots from alpha/beta don't count as promises dude.

Farahlon wasn't listed as a feature nor was promised.

i think you dont get the point of the presentation... its for the things they would LIKE to do for an expansion not what they 100% WILL do... people need to learn it that not everything they show is a promise

Discussing =/= promising.

This is why there is such little communication between the developers and players. Its idiots like you who hold a knife to their throat over every little thing that they even slightly mention. Farahlon was never promised, it was discussed. Big difference.

Shouldnt have so much salt near those wounds.
