I wouldn't be able to handle that.

I work in a salary based job rather than an hourly based one. I prefer it. I can go home early without having to worry that i'll be taking a pay cut in doing so. There are other times i'll have to stay late, but most of the time it's a regular work day for me.

Is that common in the US or is it just a coincidence? Most jobs in Sweden afaik is hour based until you get further up the hierarchy basically, to like chief positions etc.

Mine's a bit skewed because I'm military. Most jobs are based on an hourly wage. There's also commission which is a percent of sales you make, and then salary. We follow the same principle mostly.

I think workers are the only ones with hour based, although this can vary. And officials have monthly based pay.

Well, almost everyone has a monthly pay, but that pay is based on how many hours you work.

According to lönestatistik.se monthly pay is the most common form.

Lol, yes pretty much everyone are paid by the month. But monthly salary = fixed salary.

What to do if you find yourself stuck in a crack in the ground underneath a giant boulder you can’t move, with no hope of rescue. Consider how lucky you are that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn’t been good to you so far, which given your current circumstances seems more likely, consider how lucky you are that it won’t be troubling you much longer.
