If that means my character won't be able to find proper weapons just like i can't find proper gaming mouses for left handed , then NO.

I don't know Blizzard's tech or if it's a simple thing for them to do,but I support the option. It adds a small visual detail that would look cool in a group situation and with NPCs. It would feel a bit more like a battle.. everything not being the same,characters having own traits.

Because 10% of us are left handed, and wish there was a single game that we could experience that in. (Yes I know there are a few, but it's very very few).

In the Warcraft universe the concept of left handed doesn't exist. Everyone is born a righty! That remains only a trait in our world.

Is it really that hard to just... flip the animations on a character model? To allow for left-handed characters?

Just seems like something the art team would have gotten around to by now, with all of their little tweaks to things like mount animations. And the more major changes to character animations.

Come on. This can't be hard. ....Right? Somebody science this up for me.

Just like I want to DW shields, low prio.

Though, should be in the game, maybe as a glyph? Since it is just a cosmetic.

Why do you complicate things? Would I care if a third person game has the hand proficiency switched? No.
I'm not even sure if game dev even think about what hand proficiency you are when they are designing things.
I'm ambidextrous so I don't even care even in first person games.

Wouldn't this effectively double the number of animations? Every animation would have to have both a right and left handed variant. Sure it's just "flipping" the animation, but it's still an immense amount of animations to add for a relatively small thing.
