    Thumbnails man, thumbnails!

See where the "t" is before the ".jpg" on the second link? Change that (or add it, normally) letter to change the size of the image (small/thumbnail/medium/large)

OT: They look a lot bigger, do they still have the same animation?

Thanks. Was actualy looking for how to make the picture smaller ^^

And yes. Its the same animation, but the dices are bigger than my character now. I guess its a bug, but i kinda like it

I saw that they added a graphical update to Grappling Hook. But if they sped it up then that would be fantastic.

But according to the change log they changed in March 2nd, 2016 Jolly Roger from attack speed to HP+.

AoE that you can't control probably wasn't a good idea. That is why I am surprised Sub still retains it.
Yeah , makes sense. was just curious wasn't following pirate spec as much as Sub. Thx

It's definitely faster now. However, it can no longer pull you onto a roof or the like. It basically lost all grappling hook flavor. It more or less has the same pathing requirements as Heroic Leap now, except that it can utterly fail and still go on CD. I'd assume there's just no pathing logic check yet for the new functionality. I assume this is all stuff that will be fixed.

Now if only they'd actually do something about Roll the Bones. Hoping the new dice is indication of a rework, but I'm starting to lose hope.

    Seriously.
But that would mean my skill as a player would influence my performance ingame.

And that would make people lacking skill feel bad. Can't have that.

So now we have Outlaw: The RNG spec. "I'm not the reason I'm at the top/bottom of the dps charts; it's RNG!" And they'll be right.

    New Roll the Bones graphics:

Hi, sorry if this has been discussed already, but this thread is now 50+ pages long...

How does Run Through (or DfA) fit in with Roll the Bones? Do you only use it if you already have the 5 RtB dps buffs active? If not you just keep Rolling the Bones?

I've heard a lot of complaints that the SnD spec is boring because it's just Maintain SnD + Every other finisher is Run Through, but to me (granted I haven't played it) the alternative seems even worse if you never get to use Run Through at all because you're missing a RtB buff.

    Thanks for any responses

Until someone does the math on this matter, we can only speculate. However, if I had to guess, I think if there's at least a 30% chance with each roll to get a set of buffs that are better than Slice n' Dice, then it should be worth the gamble (you also have a free row talent to add DPS upon it).

I don't have beta, but I don't get why they say Outlaw is not fun without RtB. The new spec isn't that much different from live Combat if you take SnD, except there's no Insight, no Ruthlessness and no Relentless Strikes, the latter making the spec more energy starved. Aside from that, you get a buffed SnD and procs that help speed up the rotation and fill your CPs faster along with Curse of the Dreadblades.

No DPS math but we have slightly higher than 25% chance to get True Bearing(regardless of number/composition of other buffs). My current hypothesis it is worth to roll for TB seeing what impact it has on rotation.

Only me that thinks Jolly rogers should be a x% chance to get as an additional buff ? Not as a single buff. In a pve encounter and you get Jolly Rogers then thats nothing but a dps loss.

That's how I feel, glowpipe. It is a godsend for killing elites out in the world but when I'm in a dungeon I'll just let out a groan when I get it and have to reroll. It could make sense in the fact we're cheats with loaded dice or something.

Another suggestion would be to have you CP filled when you gain Jolly Roger, so you can either choose to reroll or keep it and just apply a stun or do dmg, I could live with that. Actually I think that would be awesome ^^.

Slice and Dice doesnt seem like a dps loss to RtB, unless you are expecting uber 3+ roll of the correct buffs.

  15. #1075
New RtB graphic is straight up stupid.

Too much clutter already. Don't need to make things worse for dungeons and raids.

    That is correct.

It seems you have to worker hader with RNG rolls and marked for death to achieve similar DPS as a SnD build. Blizz has pained themselves in a corner with this level of RNG.

Talent calc shows S&D at a 100% attack-speed increase compared to the current live version (40%).
S&D has been the cornerstone of our rotation since the dawn of time at 40%, how is 100% not completely gamebreaking overpowered?

Because combat would be shit without snd or RtB. So having one or two strong spells and not having anything else isnt such a big deal.

I still think you're a dick robertocarlos, but this comment is Spot On. One trick ponies are the new trend.

Because it's a lot easier to keep us in check in pvp when a large portion of our damage is from white attacks.

Yes I'm a dick for wanting the best out of a game that makes you pay a subscription and has failed to match even the quality of past iterations and don't just settle for what we are given. And I haven't been in the sub thread for a long time so you guys can jerk each other off in peace because I've already decided I wont be wasting my time with legion. (I did mention sub pvp damage was high and expected a nerf but have stayed out of pve discussion completely)
