When did these forums become /p/ ???

Well, people take it too far. I've posted a thread that had no relation to SJWs whatsoever and discussion against SJWs happened.

I'm genuinely wondering? I took a break from these forums before recently coming back and browsing them... I notice a serious pattern of the same type of edgy/bait threads that look like they belong on /p/ or some other sort of alt-right forum. It's also the same sterotypical "ANTI SJW ANTI FEMENAZI" people that make the threads too. Have the forums always been like this and I haven't noticed or is this new?

Edit: May I add I never usually posted only browsed the forums.

If you aren't interested in a right wing oriented thread, just don't post in it. Thinking it's weird or wrong that they aren't silenced is only proving the point.

This Off Topic forum has been steered by the sub forums. We have sub forums for sports, movies, music, tv, and computers. Plus there is a "fun stuff" forum for silly topics. There are a few topics not given a sub forum (sex, cars, partying, self-help, career advice, repair/handyman, school, gossip etc.) but the only reason those don't have a sub forum is that there aren't enough posts to make a sub forum for them.

The upshot is that the Off-Topic forum has become the six o'clock news. Here we talk about current events, breaking news, politics, war, natural disasters, terrorism, etc. If it belongs on the six o'clock news, it goes in the off-topic forum.

I never said anything was wrong, but truthfully I do tend to find that most ANTI SJW/ANTI feminist crusaders jump straight to the opposite end of the extremism spectrum, and end up being worse than the people they're against.

The real question is what value do you find only encountering points of view you agree with?

I expected someone to say this. Not once did I say I agree or disagreed with anyone, I'm just making a general observation, but now that you mention it most of the people I'm referring to aren't even civil or willing enough to engage with. I'm not even talking about normal conservatives I'm highlighting the extremists that do nothing but troll and try to "trigger" anyone they deem as a social justice warrior.

You say that as if it's a bad assumption? Visit 4Chan (I won't blame you if you don't want to) and tell me the typical views of people on there aren't homogeneous with an alt-right/rightwinger.

I don't think you understand what 'far left' means. You just included standard liberals, left-leaning centrists, moderates, libertarians, Republicans, and far-right extremists as all being 'alt-right/rightwinger'.

I think a big part of it is there are two trends making it worse, both there are very few forums were conservative views can be discussed and class with non-conservative views, by few I mean few of any significance that has more than say 10 people posting or whatever. The other is that big forums were a lot of the Alt-right people go tend to get banned like how on reddit they will eventually just ban their little subreddits but those posters don't just stop posting they go elsewhere.

And while some might argue otherwise, the mods of this little forum are not the controlling wretched cuntbagels that often parasitically lurch onto forum spaces and control all discussion and dialog. So imagine now all the even semi-conservative or just not sufficiently progressive enough voices that could be on say NeoGaf or many other gaming web forums, well they aren't just going to shut up, they will post elsewhere.

As a side note, a youtuber who is Anti-SJW even recommends THIS FORUM in particular apparently since you can say things critical of feminism or SocJus and not be insta-banned.

Ahh that might be where they have all come from. Someone has recommended this place as somewhere where they can post their foul sexist, racist, natavist, etc, views and not immediately get perma-banned.

IMO the rules need to be changed there are people here who push it too far who do need perma-banning via IP bans. I am fine with reading conservative view points, but when you have someone making racist or islamophobic threads, that, for example, decry muslims for supposedly causing an epidemic of rape in sweden, or that time and time again call african americans violent thugs, then those posters need perma-banning. If they want to be human pieces of trash they should go to breitbart or stormfront where they can be with their fellow pieces of human trash and be welcomed with open arms.
