I love how she was so hot that Fel Guards wanted to get it on, I also love how people can be so powerful and yet so naive, namely her thought that she would marry and bear Sarg's children. An Interesting Villian that got more interesting with the creation of the Naga, but has been underwhelming in WoW.

I give her a 7

I like having female villains, and I think Azshara had great potential to be the main villain of an expansion. Would've been interesting to have an expansion on the seas, where she raises new islands from the depths, continue'ing Neptulons storyline where she is using him for some evil purpose (yet in Legion they decided to do something else with him...), and N'Zoth would've fit as the perfect mid-expansion boss like Yogg-Saron was in WotLK.

Alas, I don't see these plans coming true anytime soon. And as of yet I've barely seen anything of Azshara, all she has is a cool backstory which requires me to dig deeper into the books and stuff. I'll give her a neutral 6/10 rating as of yer, but I'd love to see more of her at some point.

4. Unless someone can offer some lore other than what's portrayed in the novels? She comes across as very shallow and easily duped. Her servants have more on the ball than she does.

He wasn't. He was twisted into an embodiment of corruption and destruction but he wasn't "10 times more powerful". He effectively struggled with the sole Alexstrasza even though he emerged victorious.

The Old Gods corrupted Neltharion for a reason: he was the most accessible and vulnerable and held dominion over the the basic components of the planet as Aspect of the Earth. Which means that if you desired to bring an apocalypse to tear the world apart, Neltharion was the obvious best candidate to corrupt in order to achieve that.
