so this popped up, i was confused and opened it... then i remembered... then my everything hurt..... so so much...

this is one of the things i am loving about legion, all the small things like this, it was described in the book, and now its ingame (wasn't before cause we haven't seen dalaran after theramore till now) but god... it made me pre-lapse into "aww no... little gnome girl... and her father... and jaina... NUUUUUUUuuuuuuuu..."

so i really hope they keep with bringing stuff from the books into the game ,cause alot of it seems to be skipped out on...

also im pretty sure she gave him permission to do it every night as a "never forget theramore"

Well she died as particles and she lives on as particles. I guess its fitting. Hope she doesn't turn into dust when the sun rises next day

Not 100% true. But yes, it is quite a nice thing to put it into the new Dalaran so it doesn't feel "as" disconnected.

Wasn't this described in Tides of War as being his job? He did it every night, the difference now is the wee gnome girl above the lights as an in game nod.

yeah it was his job after to light the lights of dalaran, but yeah now that i think about it, it did only mention one night of her appearing, but eh, its a nice.... allthough saddening.... but nice... nod to the book

Aye, but to be fair, those two expansions didn't have anything happening to/with Dalaran with regards to assets and whatnot. The closest would be the purge, which was a 5 minute phased scenario.

Yes, I just finished reading it last week.
Because of what happened he got special permission to, for one night, do this magic trick.
Putting it into the game years later and for a longer period is weird..

I like that they add little things like this, but I just think it's strange to put that specific thing in the game now.
We've had Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor.

yeah, jaina after the mana bomb returns to find her young female gnome apprentice floating, she goes to hug her and she turns to dust all over jaina, so jaina gives the gnomes father the dust and (one night in the book) ever night when he lights the lights of dalaran, her image appears in the lights, happy as she allways was when she was in dalaran

:"( super sad... jainas friend dies in her arms from the people who betrayed her and blew up her city, and people try to call jaina a bitch for hating the horde >_>

still it is nowhere close to that epl somethingshire questline. where you pick up pieces of toys for the little ghost girl. when she calls you uncle... I fucking cried so hard so bad.
