Jay Wilson Leaving Blizzard

To the extent that he is responsible for what happened (e.g. ability prune, simplification of game) since WoD, I am glad to see him go. Not sure how much he was involved with that, but it's why I moved to private servers to play the WoW I love.

Hopefully he's replaced by someone who "gets" what made WoW great.

Good riddance to be perfectly honest. I don't think it's coincidence that Jay "Fuck that loser" Wilson worked on D3, worked on Titan, and then worked on WoD. One failed project and 2 of the worst releases ever by Blizzard.

Designing a game is definitely more than 1 person but if you have someone at the head of the decision making that isn't doing a good job, the entire project suffers. Good fucking riddance.

He made Diablo 3 a pile of poop, got 'transfered' to WoW and tried to port a lot of those Diablo 3 features into WoW... geez.

Apparently solely responsible for making D3 crap the whole scapegoat thing that GC got and Holinka gets with WoW. Apparently he made WoD suck and he insulted 1 dev and apologized after yet people still brought it up. You know like TB and the "get cancer" comment.
