That's the smart way to do it. He can either take his ball home and hand the presidency to Trump, at which point the country takes two giant steps backward from his point of view. Or he can use the power he holds to wring concessions from Hillary and get some of what he wants enacted, so not so much two steps forward but maybe half or three quarters of one.

To be honest your posts seem a lot more like a temper tantrum to me, but whatever. If people protest voting makes you want to protest vote against them, so be it. I'd tell you to grow thicker skin but I don't think it matters much at this point. It's your vote.

Electability right now means who has the most experience and who is most likely to win. Bernie wins both categories.

I agree it's over (unless a miracle indictment happens), but that's no reason we can't discuss it.
So why does Bernie get the pass? Just like Kasich he didn't win his nomination. So why should the super delegates vote for Bernie over Clinton but the same argument can't be used for Kasich over Trump?

The 'two sides of the same coin' argument is lazy, pompous, and totally mysterious to anyone that's been paying attention to the parties over the years.

'Two sides of the same coin' doesn't explain why the parties have huge divides on abortion, LGBT rights, energy policy, minimum wage, etc. It's like the observation that both sides have a lot of corporate hacks somehow negates the plethora of differences they have.

Oh, and Hillary being the worst person alive is an opinion. Trump is, imo, far worse.

I would vote for a rag on a stick if it promised to protect mainstream Democratic party policy. I knew I would vote D in 2016 back in 2004. #BernieOrBust is just ignorance of the issues actually facing this country. Trump means more maniacs on the bench, the end of ACA, the end of progressive taxation, and likely the end of all labor protections if the Rs hold the legislature. I vote for policies, and rationalize the candidates to get them afterwards.

    Afuckingmen brother amen
K so your looking at one of the 3 recent polls showing him ahead, where as in the other 11 recent polls she is ahead, on average by 2-3 points.

    Stop cherrypicking.

You're also comparing a candidate who has his nom wrapped up to one who does not, trumps bump came from consolidating support, Clinton will get that too, therefore for him to NOT be ahead by 4-5 % in the polls after winning his nom, and him being behind by 2-3% on avg, is a TERRIBLE sign for Trump.

He can't defeat a candidate in a still fractured party, that's fucking sad.

He's going to lose, just wait and see. Can't wait to make the thread Nov 8th "Hillary Clinton wins the Presidency".

Also polls this early are indicative of nothing, wait til August.

Well the Reuters Poll has her up 11 as of this past Friday and them tied in their previous poll. IBD/TIPP from today has her up 5 over Trump. Now at this point the polls are frankly not worth much except to point out how people view what they have said and how it came across.
What are we gonna do now? Taking off his turban, they said, is this man a Jew?
'Cause they're working for the clampdown
They put up a poster saying we earn more than you!

Funny considering you spend all your time in the Bernie Sanders megathread trashing Bernie and trying to incite his supporters...

The delegates were contacted and said they were voting for her and they werent going to change their mind. Just like most of us decided ahead of time. I mailed my ballot for tomorrow last week. It still counts even though its "early"

And his senate job is over (the repercussion would be harsh) and a liberal candidate anywhere in the United States will get minimal funding from the DNC in response.

No it isnt. None are. He would need to win 70-30 for it to matter. That wont happen.
