I don't think it's overrated too much imo, really don't see it around too much. One mount that is overrated for sure though is the Spectral Tiger/Swift Spectral Tiger.

How many kills do you have? While the drop rate is very low you are pretty much guaranteed to get it eventually. Keep at it! When it finally dropped for me I was farming it on 6 alts every week. I believe it was 160 kills.

I love it because I think the lore is good behind it and the quality of it is nice. Also it suits my DK wonderfully.

I'd say personally, it is the greatest mount in game. I gold capped it on the BMAH 35 minutes after it went up on it. Didn't hesitate, didn't even remotely think. Just flew there and bought it with a giant smile on my face

No. Not quite. Invincible is not considered the most famous mount of WoW, nor is it particularly beautiful. I guess the most famous title would go to ashes of Al'ar while the most beautiful lies in the exes of the beholder.

I used to want Invincible pretty badly, but I always wanted Mim's Head more. Got Mim's Head and I still farm Invincible, but I won't use it much if/when it drops. I think for people who played in Wrath Invincible is a cool reminder of a great raid and great fight (as is Mim's Head), so it has nostalgia value. I personally think that has more to do with its status than its looks.

Calling it Invisible doesn't help either. It died in the book, doesn't sound very Invisible to me.
