It's always a bit of a shame when big players aren't at tournaments.

A much bigger shame though is Kompany. Benzema it's his own stupid fault, Kompany's just had such a bad time this past year. He's defo the player I feel the worst for when it comes to those who aren't at the Euros.

Never really got why France was praised into the heavens. Yeah they have a decent team. Pogba is a great talent, Griezman is great and Payet played a decent match. But all in all they don't seem like a trophy winning team yet.

Giroud sitting on the wings sometimes hasn't done them much good either. Aside from a few headers I think he's rather mediocre.

My guess is that he'll go out for Martial at some point.

Could be difficult to start a first game on your own soil. Pressure might have clipped their wing.

Aye, and the team that grows the most will be most likely to win. See Germany 2 years ago and Spain the 6 years before that.

Yes that is definitely true. Home turf pressure is immense. First thing I noticed is how nervous the France team looked during the anthems.
