No way an Arthas trilogy would be able to give all 3 Arthas/Illidan/Sylvanas plotlines a satisfactory explanation. I think they would have to cut Illidan from any Arthas trilogy since he isn't that important in the grand scheme of things. I would rather them focus on the Lordaeron aspects of the Lich King.

Whats with the title of the film? Anyway... it should just be called Warcraft 3 part 1 and part 2.
Btw the reason the expansion was called Wrath of the lich king was because he had been sitting on the frozen throne for years brooding and gaining his full powers and creating an army to retake azeroth. There was no "Wrath" in the 3rd game. Arthas wasnt even the lich king yet. Stupid title.
IMO it should be 3 movies and the movies are the campaigns themselves. Human, Undead, then Night Elf. I think then you can give the correct amount of development to the characters for a movie. Originally Posted by shoc

90% likely there will never be a movie about "wrath of the lich king" because that would be the 6th sequal to the warcraft movie..
70% likely there WILL be a movie about warcraft 3 the frozen throne though that could be either the 3rd sequal or the 4th and since duncan wants to do 3 more movies...DUN DUN DUN frozen throne can easily fit into itand without duncan jones then the movie wouldn't be the same blizzard wouldn't want anyone else to do it which is why the movie took so long to get made
also Alexander Skarsgård would be better for arthas since he spent 7 years playing a vampire in true blood (an undead) and recently played as tarzan so tarzan+trueblood experience essentially is how arthas behaved before and after becoming the lich king
they also kind of look the same
