This is truth, and one of the few things both sides agree on!

Case in point: Dehumanize your opponents instead of attacking their beliefs. Hallmark of the political left.
Just because you call something left doesn't make something left, nothing in America is really left. Its just that some people are on the right, and others are even more on the right then those other people. And FYI "liberal" isn't left or right.

Psychopathy (/saɪˈkɒpəθi/), also known as—though sometimes differentiated from—sociopathy (/soʊsiˈɒpəθi/), is traditionally defined as a personality disorder characterized by enduring antisocial behavior, diminished empathy and remorse, and disinhibited or bold behavior.
Sounds more like the modern conservative to me.

    from the article:

In the paper, the authors are clear that “psychoticism” doesn’t mean “psychotic.” Rather:

Having a high Psychoticism score is not a diagnosis of being clinically psychotic or psychopathic. Rather, P is positively correlated with tough-mindedness, risk-taking, sensation-seeking, impulsivity, and authoritarianism…As such, we expect higher P scores to be related to more conservative political attitudes, particularly for militarism and social conservatism.
i guess liberals are more willing to take higher risks? makes sense really...

It was ridiculous to think they were even relatable; honestly right up there with when "science" attempted to prove that Jews were inferior genetically and blacks were just "inherently stupid". Leave it to the left to sink that low

So I don't define myself as a liberal, every political test I take lists me as a socio-anarcho which is basically a socialist anarchist. Does this mean I'm psychotic? #Wee

when the time is right, then change has to be accepted. Think about this, the left willing to accept green techonology when it just came out, they organized against oil and coal, despite green tech not being viable yet. Even now, the issue with the green tech, i.e. battery has not been fixed. We can store oil, coal, but we can't store green energy for transport

And then we'd just split ourselves on issues again and develop sub-ideologies that would become the new left and right or what have you, and on it goes.

Evangelical Christians, much like the douche that shot up the Planned Parenthood clinic. Warren at least made strides to help the country, instead of hold us back and keep the electorate retarded.

Any time I hear shit like this I just think to myself, "Oh, so the opposite is actually the truth. Gotcha."

Although, with stupid propaganda threads like these Machiavellian is probably more accurate.

"Authoritarianism" and "tough-mindedness" are patently not traits used to diagnose for psychosis. Or psychopathy, as the study seems to regularly conflate.

It's a quack study based on dubious standards and metrics.

Even if it were true(which isn't, for emphasis), the extreme ends on both sides would then equally fall squarely under being psychotic.

The fact that two studies on the same topic found two completely opposite things probably means this entire topic is borked as fuck and should be just...let to rest for a year or two.

Also saying anybody's political leanings means they're some kind of psychotic or sociopath is pretty stupid regardless.

It's hard to call right wingers "psychotic" when its the tolerant left wingers that are out flipping cop cars and rioting at Trump rallys. Not surprised by this study at all
