    Enchanting in legion

do we get to enchant any new piece in Legion? or is any spot removed? like enchants on shoulders etc.

I believe they added glove and shoulder enchants but theyre profession related buffs. Like you can get shoulder enchants that cause things you kill to drop crafting mats or enchant gloves to increase gathering speed.

Well, there's no weapon enchants. However, there are neck enchants that do various things instead, and ring enchants that power up the neck enchants.

No weapon enchants at all? That is odd. But then again, makes somewhat sense with the artefact lore, I guess.

Yeah I just unlocked a bunch of shoulder enchants though the reps. One of them is an enchant that allows you to get specific meats off enemies that are for better cooking recipes I would imagine. So no direct player power like "50 strength" for example but "now enemies have a chance to drop [type of meat]" type of stuff.

In other words enchanting is useless.

RIP another layer of player choice removed.

No it has things it can craft. Almost all the professions outside of jewelcrafting (not sure if its suppose to be) have been really stripped down of giving direct player power. Instead they are more about creating objects in game. Such as gear, pets, toys, and other various things that do not make players stronger, again, directly.

The neck enchant seems interesting, it summons a companion:

How does the neck enchant work?

The neck enchant summons a companion. You can enchant one of the following on your neck.

    Loyal Druid
    Fallen Sentinels
    Trickster
The function of summoned companion is based on what enchant you have on your ring and cloak.

Loyal Druid enchant (summons a druid)

Agility Cloak (Druid learns Cat Form)
Intellect Cloak (Druid learns Moonkin Form)
Strength Cloak (Druid learns Bear Form)

Critical Strike Ring (Druid gains bleed attack)
Haste Ring (Druid gains healing spell)
Mastery Ring (Druid gains root enemies)
Versatility Ring (Druid increases your damage)
Fallen Sentinels enchant (casts Rain of Fire on your target)

Agility Cloak (Rain of fire changes to glaives instead)
Intellect Cloak (Rain of fire changes to rain of holy bolts instead)
Strength Cloak (Rain of fire changes to fiery arrows instead)

Critical Strike Ring (Rain of fire blinds your target)
Haste Ring (Rain of fire gets a wider radius)
Mastery Ring (Rain of fire transforms some of the dmg to heal on you)
Versatility Ring (Rain of fire increases your damage)
    Trickster enchant (summons a trickster)

Agility Cloak (The trickster gains fel energy)
Intellect Cloak (The trickster gains shadow energy)
Strength Cloak (The trickster gains fire energy)
Critical Strike Ring (The trickster absorbs some of your damage)

Haste Ring (The trickster stuns your enemy)
Mastery Ring (The trickster place a dmg curse on your target)
Versatility Ring (The trickster increases your damage)

What are those neck enchant companions? Are they on use or passive procs, or even permanent?

    Weapon enchants were choice?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0H3-N9zoI5c Amazing video of 60+ devilsaurs raiding Undercity!

My God, what a horrible creation. People seeing what they want? Thank God they tried to shy away from that. I know it pisses me off when I'm in an heroic raid, yet in the back of my head all I can think is 'some casual player is playing a heroic dungeon and not wiping.' -Vodkarn

Just quit and dont come back rofl.
This is a good change, and a huge buff to the crafting side of the game.

If you didnt take 2 crafting professions before you were doing it wrong for the raiding scene, now it doesnt matter.
Crafting has more progression, and is easier and more enjoyable than mining 6000 rocks a day.

Crafting now adds additional world quest content, so you have less distance to ride between quests on your ground mount all expansion ( hilarious joke right here)

Urgh. Companion/Pet AI and pathing is atrocious, really hope they have an alternative neck enchant that's simply raw stats instead.

Nope. Those are the only neck enchants.
