That's what happens when your central defense is made up of lads who don't start for Sunderland and Villa

If it truly were that diluted, shouldn't we see more scoring instead of less?

Ireland played surprisingly well. Im impressed. They are usually brutal. Swedish look dodgy at the back.

If sweden want to qualify for the next round now they have to beat either Italy or Belgium... Really doubt this team can do that even if Ibra plays better than this...

As Belgian myself, i first want to see how they actually do in the group stage people tend to rank them highly due to their players. Doesn't mean the team is working at the level they should.

Not a big fan of wilmots personally either as coach. Guess i'll see how they faire in a few minutes.

Italy is in a pretty weak spot nowadays. I'm curios to see what Belgium does. I like them, nice shirt

I prefer Italy, they've been world winner 3 times before, they have the needed experience.

    We lack the players though.

Zlatan needs to drop way too often to midfield to come and get the ball. Berg was totally invisible, only when Guidetti came onto the field did Zlatan get more space, and more support. Sweden needs to play more towards Zlatan strengths and less just hoping it stays 0-0 in my opinion.

Dutch commentator said about Zlatan: "Zlatan in Swedish team is like Max Verstappen driving a formula one car with only three wheels." I thought it quite apt.

You lack Andrea Pirlo, the architect. What an amazing player.

"Pirlo can make his feet do whatever he wants. He's a genius."

Watching Pirlo playing was a pleasure. He only needed .5 of a sec to know what to do with ball.
Plus he punished Joe hart for acting like a clown. And that's beyond legendary.

It certainly should, but with Courtois at one end and Buffon at the other, don't expect a goalfest

Buffon and his boys belting out the anthem always is a joy.
