    That was my first thought on the title, too.

    I would suggest they merge the WC3 story with WotLK into one series of films, so they could wrap up the Arthas story by the end.

    About the Gerard Butler Casting...

    I like it because it would be a head-fake. Those unfamiliar with the story would assume he couldn't die since he is such a big action star. His death would be Ned Stark-esque.

    You're talking about a lot of creative license there... geeks don't like that.

    The pre-WoW Warcraft story lends itself better to a high budget mini-series. HBO...whaaaat?

    Arthas is a favorite character to be sure, but as far as story goes, I think it would be far more gripping if you told the story like breaking bad. Like he wants to be good, everything he does is for the right reasons... but its always the worst decision and its always damning to his soul.

    I've always found Chris Hemsworth, the guy who plays Thor in the Marvel movies, to fit the role of Arthas. He has about the same looks and age.

    Well to my knowledge no one was credited for his cute lil growls... but someone obviously did the voice acting there. Someone was probably the model for the CG too... my bet is on Metzen's baby photos.

    Halle Berry doesn't fit for Tyrande at all. It should be someone with a longer, thinner face - such as Anne Hathaway.
    I also think Alexander Skarsgård would make a better Arthas.
    I think Dakota Fanning would be a better Sylvanas, and she is a much better actor than her sister. I wouldn't mind Jena Malone as her aswell.

    The baby is purely CGI. He's holding a rolled newspaper they said in an interview.
