2 Questions for Legion....

Anyone with Beta or general knowledge of....

1) Are Primal Spirits becoming unbound...sort of like what they did with Spirits of Harmony?


2) Does transmogable gear have an "Already Learned" status when farming or like most people.....when opening their 1000's of salvaged crates???
that way we dont have to keep checking if we "know" the item when opening said crates.

1) Currently still Bind on Pickup, have seen no suggestion that will change yet.

2) There is tooltip text indicating when an appearance has not been learned, but not one saying that it has.
Not all items are eligible, but everything from the crates should be.
Generally with typical equipment loots or vendor purchases, if it doesn't say you haven't then you have learned it.
You should be able to search for the item by name though if you filter it to the slot and weapon type if applicable first, while you are logged into a relevant character.

As a general, but not entirely inclusive rule that if it can be soulbound, either Bind to Account, Bind in Pickup or Bind on Equip and Green/Uncommon or higher then it should be allowed.

That.....seems a little bit of an ass backwards way of notifying you......telling you you HAVEN'T learned it.......that's like an automobiles fuel gauge only having a full....and if its not full assume its empty......just seems odd to me.

I agree it is a bit messy given how it not being on the toolitp doesn't necessarily mean that you have.
It could mean that item that are not yet eligible, either due to simply being missed or a change of rules may be destroyed with the incorrect assumption that their appearances have been saved.

Actually it makes perfect sense. If you see an item in the auction house, in chat, in loot, you want to be told if you still need that item, not the other way around.

absolutely. it makes sense this way.

however i am 500000% sure someone will make an addon that will add the opposite display for you, so i wouldn't worry too much.
