Grinding in Legion: Quest or donjons

SO what are your thoughs? I personally don't care about the leveling phase and would rather focus on the end game so what do you think is the fastest based on your experience on beta? Donjon or questing?

    Questing is.

Completing bonus objectives in wod and leaving 1 mob before they complete in nagrand helps.

Outside of that go to Azsuna or Val'sharah.

Avoid high mountain and stormheim if you can and just quest till cap returning to your class hall every three levels or so to get things done.

Questing by far - they're super smooth. On the other hand - if you play on launch there might be some waiting, because of limited mobs of course.

So start by questing, and only use dungeons if there are to many people that you can't quest - which shouldn't be a problem if the new phasing tech works.

Since raids will be locked for like a month - why rush to max level? Just enjoy the content, do a loremaster + all dungeons so you will understand everything that's going on in Legion

Max level is pretty important for grinding out gear now with the whole lol rng loot... That said next to wod legion has some of the best quests it isn't a bad leveling experience at all.

multitagging should help a lot especially for dotting classes - basickly dot dot dot x 1000 and let other do the job

They will be locked for a while... Most likely a minimum of two weeks. They haven't released the exact deadline yet but expect two to three weeks for normal and heroic then a week after that for mythic.

You will be doing all zones anyway for artifact power. There is no reason for rushing to max level.

Aren't raids released like 1 week after the start? Sadly, I don't remember anything apart from LK launch. -_-

um, because any player that doesn't want to be at the bottom of the LFR barrel will attempt to improve their character?

There's about 50 reasons to rush to max level. Just because you're fine with being dead last doesn't mean everyone wants to frolick around playing with daisies

I would rate Legion miles ahead of WoD's questing, and that's coming from someone who praised WoD's questing. Legion just has the complete package

Could we refrain from saying predictions as facts please?

There is a high likelyhood this is true, but we dont have any facts on it yet

I hope you do realise that, although getting to a cap in four hours since start of new expansion, with this awesome new loot rng system you may never see any upgraded piece of gear?

There is no need to rush...
No more time wasted in WoW.. still reading this awesome forum, though

Pfft, oh please. RNG in critz and procs do more deviations in dps than having one extra 0.5% damage perc learned in your precious statstick.

You want do to question if your focus is endgame since you need friend rep with every zone to start world questing at 110 and you will get that if you level by questin.

Honestly, depending on the build patch you choose for your artifact, it comes out to a LOT more than "0.5%" damage. Thanks to the exponential increase in trait cost, if you end up without one of your keystone traits, you can end up gimping yourself fairly heavily (again, depending on your trait path).

OT: Questing has been fantastic. I've done 100-110 twice so far on Beta, using different zone paths each time. It has been very smooth, fairly quick, and honestly quite enjoyable.

Normal and heroics 1 week after release
mythic raids and wing 1 LFR 2 weeks after release
is what they pretty much do now.
    Anemo: traveler, Sucrose
Pyro: Yanfei, Amber, diluc, xiangling, thoma, Xinyan, Bennett
Geo: Noelle, Ningguang, Yun Jin, Gorou
    Hydro: Barbara, Zingqiu, Ayato
Cyro: Shenhe, Kaeya, Chongyun, Diona, Ayaka, Rosaria
Electro: Fischl, Lisa, Miko, Kujou, Raiden, Razor

Dungeons are pretty bad for xp grind speed. Youll be far better off overall just grinding out quests which is also pretty fast from 100-110.
