Nothing beats the feeling of walking into ICC for the first time, hearing Tirion's speech, and seeing Marrowgar looking back at you from the end of the hallway. Except facing the Lich King for the first time. I as so fucking nervous that my hands were shaking too much to perform my rotation.

Karazhan is my absolute favourite, it was the first raid i finished at its intended level (In PuGs but still...), and the design, it has this weird "haunted house"-vibe and this sense of fitting together (until everything gets dimensionally wibbly-wobbly past Shade of Aran, anyway), there's the sort of things you'd expect in a powerful mage's tower, not just "Here's a room with just a boss sort of twiddling his thumbs because reasons.".

It was alright, so i don't think that the stoning will begin. It missed a lot, because no trash or real placement in story, but the fights atleast were fun. It was good to see anubarak in the end, and while faction champions were a bit of a mess, atleast we got to see a boss fight against elite "player" characters

Many people does, but if you start argumenting for the instance and for each individual boss, then you will see, that most of the fights are really, really good. Many of them was because of the unique feature of the hard modes, and how you activated them. Saw very few bugs in my time, and while it maybe have been overtuned, it was still an extremly fun and long lasting raid.

Ahn'Qiraj 40. When you got past Skeram for the first time and went inside. Can't beat that feeling, although I can't say I haven't tried as I've raided all raids in all difficulties successfully since then

I have my fondest memories in Karazhan. Well designed and full of interesting things. Perhaps better fights in other raids, but still the most interesting experience overall.

Vanilla: I love ZG

BC: Kara and sadly I didn't get to experience much of BT at the time

Wrath: ICC and Ulduar (Ulduar probably the best all around raid: Bosses, Size, Trash, Story, ect. ICC was cool cause Arthas and some good fights, but not perfect)

Cata: Firelands (despite my hate for running it over and over, fuck that staff) Blackrock raid was fun, I liked the size and encounters there. didn't care for BoT or DS that much

MoP: Siege over ToT mainly because I couldn't stand some of the trash runs, and some of the bosses felt forced. Tort, Kun, Twins. I feel it is a good raid, but maybe too big and some awful trash sections in there that were just time sinks. Last Half was really solid I thought.

WoD: Easily BRF. Found it to be a great raid. HFC is good, but there are some sections and bosses I could live without. Highmaul just never sucked me in. It felt really half-assed or like there was meant to be more. And Imp is the fucking worst...soooooo long and boring.

Not just raiding. The culmination of WoW itself was Ulduar. The best part of it was not that it had amazing encounters and amazing mechanics, but also that it had amazing progressive (in the literal sense of gradual progression) aesthetics from the light to (the descent to the) darkness.

Karazhan. Innovative. Great atmosphere. Was FUN, through and through.
Naxx. You felt like there was something deadly lurking around every corner. Innovative, again.
Ulduar. Style, layout, and fun boss fights. Also makes the list because hard mode instead of button-click to increase difficulty.

Honorable mention: ICC. Sindragosa, Putricide (despite the vehicle), and LK fights were really amazing. The increasing buff was fantastic. Downsides: Many of the fights were very simple and were a little disappointing to clear easily, gated wings limited epic feel, limited boss attempts was very lame, and this tier lasted WAY too long.
