Mexican is not a race however. It is a nationality and they are made up of people from different races, mainly North American Indians ( Aztecs ) and Spanish settlers and who knows what other nationalities thrown in. Just like a lot of US citizens are. So you can say he is biased or such, but racist would be a incorrect term.

The average standards of living in Canada and the US are very similar. As a result there is no incentive to be an economic migrant between these two nations. Ergo Americans illegally entering Canada are not going there to make a better life for themselves because their lives are not going to be made better if they enter illegally. So they will be entering for other reasons (whatever they may be). This is clearly not the case when comparing the US with Mexico.

Na. His tax plan for say a couple making less than 50k a year would mean they would pay no federal income taxes. It is tax cut for everyone. Not saying this would be accomplished, but it is what his policy on tax brackets are.

He said they were criminals because of what they do post entry. This was based solely on them being of Mexican origin and nothing else, and by his very words we know that he specifically singled out this ethnic group rather than applying this claim generally to all illegal immigrants.
