Nominal GDP. Well up for the idea that I'm using it incorrectly though.

    I'm guessing there's a decimal point missing.
Even if there is it's still a trillion out though for our GDP figure. - ah nvm that'll be in the currency conversion.

Northern Ireland, but yes. Wales might be iffy.

  7. #3427
It was estimated at around £7 trillion in 2013.

Can't find any latest figures though. Certainly not £18.99 Trillion.

apparently we might hear something about the count at about 12:30 or 1am but it'll be tomorrow that we see the actual result.

Remain won. If the victory is as slim as suggested then this is a subject that will not go away.

First results are expected around midnight UK time. As long as it isn't less than a 4 point spread we should have a fairly good idea by 3 and the result will be pretty much certain by 5.

It's in trillions on the wiki. He just missed a decimal:
£1.899 trillion, 1% of which is £18.993 billion.

That would make the GDP per capita of the UK be almost $165,000... Almost quadruple the US...

Also I am pretty sure the guy just forgot a decimal and meant to say £1.899 trillion, equivalent to roughly $2.8 trillion, which is accurate.

Shouldn't read too much into those first results. They are counted by people selectively bred, over centuries, for purposes the like of pushing and emptying mining carts and sorting through coal in the half light. When we closed the mines they turned to election counting speed records instead.

I think we might have a good idea somewhere between 3-4a.m.

I propose Britain leaves the EU, and joins the US.
