Leave is more right wing but there are left wing arguments against the EU, they don't gain a lot of traction but they exist. It's more working class v middle and upper though.

Scotland is already a member of the EU. Why would they suddenly no longer qualify?

Strange one, Leave is more left + right, whereas remain is very centrist. The UK is a very centrist country, we are usually very 'status quo'

Well time for bed. Got to get up in 8 hours. Guess by then it'll all be over but the drinking and shagging.

I take no position overall, because won't mean anything to me. Just if its too close, be nice to each other folks. Going to be a lot of seriously pissed off people either way.

Contrary to the Northern Scum image much of Manchester is quite affluent. It's one of the results I am most interested to see.

Because if the UK leaves the EU then Scotland leaves too and because of that then they would have to reapply to join again as it's own independent country which it might not meet the criteria to join.

It probably will stay cautious for now? I think it'll start to get up once we get closer to a final result and remain seems likely to win. Who would invest in a volatile currency like that except crazy day traders or however you call them.

The Clearances have been seen as an act of greed and betrayal, an attempt by the ruling class to preserve their wealth by sacrificing their people. Now that the gloomy shadows of these forced expulsions are passing, Ross Noble assesses what really went on.

They already meet the criteria or they wouldn't be IN the EU is my point. It's written into the Scotland Act that we need to be compliant with EU law.

I was interested, and it seems like the voter turn out for this is 68.8%. Not bad, the US 2012 presidential election was 57.5%.
