Actually that's just the political elite, the group of peoplel who's view you always here on the main media networks , but seldom hear the others.

Some of these guys are so dis-ingenious, they don't show the whole truth, they manipulate it, and are not being honest with a lot of us. They use sophistacted language and their positions dishonestly often to push their agenda, often not interested in truth. They dfine truth as whatever people perceive it to be, so then the goal becomes manipulating people to their view rather than informing them of what is the case.

Media and politicians that do that often have no idea what everyone else really feels, but you think everyone thinks so, but no, not everyone does. And people have good reasons too, but often enough others do not listen because they are convinced they are so much smarter and knowledgeable and nothing out of their mouths is worth considering especially when they don't agree with them or like them.

The only 'social issues' at play with Brexit were either invented or only important insofar as their nuisance value. The objective benefit was and is remaining with the EU.

When Germany decided that Europe needed to import half of North Africa and the Middle East, the EU stopped being of any value.

Northern Ireland voted to stay as well, though much closer than the Scots, so I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some pushing for a NI Referendum vote as well.

Wales strangely voted to leave, figured they'd be down to Remain.

Plaid Cymru certainly tried to make it for Remain. Gwynedd went remain by 58ish percent. So my sister can feel a bit good about her vote being at least the winning vote there. But yeah, Wales going mostly for Brexit might change Plaid Cymru's calculus if they want to be the SNP of Wales.
