I was actually cringing really hard at the start(this is nothing new for me with the start to a lot of JRPGs) but found myself smiling at the charm and humor of the game very quickly after.

Honestly outside of the JPop it doesn't feel anymore "Japanese" then a typical JRPG based in modern society. Very Japanese, but to be expected based on the setting just like Persona games or Tokyo Xanadu.

Soundtrack is worthless and $10 of the CE cost is in the DLC it comes with. So it's $10 for an art book.

In reality it's not THAT bad of a deal thanks to the free dlc.

That's how I view it. It's literally only a $20 difference for some extra stuff, it's not that big of a deal.

It's not like the Overwatch CE which was literally over double the price due to what it came with.

Nintendo is charging you $10 for the dlc and $10 for the cd sampler/art book. They're not charging you $60 for said bonuses.

If you like art books, and was going to buy the dlc for the game anyways then there was no reason to not just buy the SE. If you don't care about art books and weren't going to buy the dlc then obviously don't but it's not like the SE was a rip off for the people above.

The $10 DLC is actually like 5+ hours of content(longer if you use it to grind to level 99 at end game) and costumes for every character. The DLC is far from bad(especially compared to garbage like the Hyrule Warriors DLC), you have no idea what you're talking about.
