Went down this line already. It's already established that their spring/Autumn has not been recorded lasting several years. Maybe they have, but it isn't spoken of.

So we have the longest recorded intermediate lasting like 2-3 years and in this one episode we spanned months? Across how many seasons?

Yeah. Winter got drunk on the way and has been delayed a few years. Please enjoy your fall.

And I am just poking fun. It's a nitpick and a silly one at that. Pay no mind that my antics about how we have been waiting on winter for apparently long enough for a 4 year old to reach puberty and shit, lol.

Can't remember the last time an episode was so fulfilling. For any series. Sure, the long wait till next season will suck. But I've been stuffed, full. Very good episode.

Maisie Williams even says this during the behind-the-scenes video. She says she doesn't know whats going on, but went to the Twins because she was 95% sure Walder Frey would at least be there.

In their defense the show would lose a lot if they had to always follow chronological order. Because that would likely mean stuff like Jamie talking to Frey/Varys in Dorne would have come on first. And the perfect way to start this was what they did.

If this is the length of the episodes next season I cant see why they wouldn't just cut it up to make 10 more 55 or so minute episodes.

    How long is the episode?

They've been saying winter is coming since book/season 1 though, so that implies this autumn lasted longer than a few months(unless these fuckers age like dogs or some shit).

I was wondering, since time skip is now a thing and Varys had the time to get to Dorne and come back before Daenerys sailed to Westeros, could it mean that maybe Euron and the rest of the Ironborn had the time to build that fleet he ordered back at the start of the season and might try to intercept Daenerys' fleet before she gets to King's Landing (giving us a naval battle in the next season)?

What will Euron storyline be in season 7 otherwise? Daenerys obviously wouldn't need his fleet anymore now...

Remember when Arya had her face on she kept eyeing Jaime but Jaime never fell for the trap because he feels beholden to Cersei.

They may or may not play out his plans from the book. We haven't seen dragonbinder or his affinity for shade-of-the-evening (inky warlock drink) yet. But he may attempt a dragon-steal.

Yes, I was editing my post just as you were replying to it, judging by time stamps.

I just realized they had Varys in the same shot with Daenerys but we didn't get to see interaction between them this season. They better show it next season.

He was 6 when Jon Arryn died... Not sure where people are getting 3 from.

He's three in the books. It's even explicitly mentioned.

"Rickon needs you," Robb said sharply. "He's only three. He doesn't understand what's happening."

Is that the length of episodes next season or are you speculating? If so then that awesome, FX did it with Sons of Anarchy, buts also had commercials. I doubt HBO would do it though. I hope they do, but I doubt it.

Brann is at the Heart-tree near the wall, where the Night's Watch say their vows, so I expect he will get an escort to Winterfell by them, I guess that will be the opening of season seven, episode one. Besides he can chill at the Heart tree at Winterfell, but I wonder how the lords will react to him, he is the true-born heir to Eddard Stark, jon is a bastard.

I didn't read all the books yet so I'm not really sure what is the "shade-of-the-evening" you are talking about, but I have read online about the dragonbinder horn and I was under the impression they skipped it in the show, since having a horn to command dragons seems like something you'd want to mention when trying to convince people of your claim to the throne (especially since you just admitted to murdering your brother the king) and your plans of submitting the mother of dragons, especially instead of basing your argument around the size of your penis.
