Yeah, in a sense the current feminist streams are good. They cured me of that silly notion that I need to respect every idiocy just because it uses a certain label. Of course its art, you have to jump through a lot of mental hoops, get rid of a lot of self esteem and be very creative and manipulative in explaining to people why they should give you money for it. Theres some real social skills involved. /sarcasm

I think theres multiple issues surrounding "art" like this. First of all, not all art is good or valuable. Secondly, not everything is art just because someone says it is. Thirdly, people are too eager to show of their wealth and success by wearing of having expensive items. Entire industries feed on peoples needs to buy items of a certain brand, where quality doesnt explain the added value. The same goes with art, its just another way to showpiece you have too much money. And what better way than by buying something you dont need for far more than what its worth?

It's art. It's put forward by the maker with the intent of provoking an emotional response and expressing a message. Like a lot of the more recent art, it involves the viewer/buyer personally. The message conveyed is deeper than, "give me money and I'll show you my tits." Even the transaction has been incorporated into the expression of their idea.

You might not like it or what it says, or that some of their stuff doesn't require an expression of proficient draftsmanship, but it's art. It's a culturally relevant, successfully executed expression of an idea.

*Giggles* Posting pictures online is a good way to get a name for yourself, though, then you can easily charge for extras beyond that. For example, now-a-days, on certain occasion, charged 80$ for a framed, penned autograph, a brushstroke of my favorite perfume (which is actually the most expensive part), a kiss with my lipstick, with a little message on the back of my pictures that I've posted online before to fans on my other sites. While I could easily charge a lot more for them, I only really care about covering the cost of doing things like that because I like doing it for my fans.
