Memes are against site rules if they're the only thing in the message I think. Not when the post has additional crap in it. I could be wrong.

Also, lol, 14 points in 6 days. You're going to have to make yet another account.

BTW posting about moderation is also infractable so you might want to reconsider that post.

I think so as well -- you can't just spam threads with images with no message content.

Donald Trump just took the lead in a major national poll for the first time in roughly six weeks.

In a Rasmussen poll released Thursday, Trump held a 4-point lead over presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. Of the 1,000 likely voters surveyed, the presumptive Republican nominee won over 43% of support compared to Clinton’s 39%.

The margin of error was plus or minus 3 points.

The poll is the first Trump has lead over Clinton since mid-May, when Trump held a 2-point lead in an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

The Rasmussen poll breaks a streak of 22 consecutive polls Clinton has topped Trump in.

After the Rasmussen survey, Clinton’s lead in the RealClearPolitics average of several polls is now 4.9%.

13 Percent of Americans Would Rather Have a Meteor Hit Earth Than Elect Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, Poll Finds

According to a new poll, a full 13 percent of Americans would rather have a meteor hit Earth than vote for either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton – yes, seriously.

Public Policy Polling's latest nationwide poll took a turn for the bizarre when it asked registered voters to choose between the leading Republican and Democratic nominees and almost certain death.

Voters were asked: "If the choices for President were Democrat Hillary Clinton, Republican Donald Trump, and a Giant Meteor hitting the earth which would you choose?"

Clinton nabbed 43 percent of the vote, Trump won 38 percent, and the meteor was backed by 13 percent of voters, nearly double the number of those who said they were "not sure" whether they'd rather choose a human presidential candidate or a huge space rock hurtling toward the earth.

The hypothetical giant meteor almost has the 15 percent vote required to enter the next presidential debate, and also garnered more support than Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein.

Who Donald Trump will select as his running mate has been the source of endless speculation.

But even more interesting than who he picks may be when he picks — Trump has stated several times that he wouldn’t reveal his choice until the Republican National Convention in July.

Traditionally, candidates have announced their running mates a week or two before their party’s convention. Some wait just a few days before the big event, like John McCain did in 2008 when he chose Sarah Palin.

But if Trump keeps his word, it will be the first time in almost 30 years a candidate has waited until the convention itself to reveal the person who will join them on the presidential ticket.

Only two candidates in modern history have waited until the convention to announce their picks — George H.W. Bush when he tapped Dan Quayle in 1988 and Ronald Reagan in 1980 when he chose Bush.

The unconventional move is calculated on Trump’s part, and it could pay major dividends for his campaign, said Richard Parker, a Harvard public policy lecturer and former political consultant.

“[Trump] is a master of free media, and part of what he’s going to do with the VP nomination is the free media strategy,” Parker told Business Insider. “The media will hunger and hunger and hunger for the name of the VP candidate, and the surge will build in a crescendo of interest in who he appoints.”

    Trump 43% Clinton 39%

Besides, the election run doesn't even really start until after the conventions. I am sure these two will attack each other vigorously once the campaign is in full swing. This elections will come down to which attacks "stick" and will partially be affected by external events (such as :more terrorist attacks, etc)
Rasmussen is one of those polls that polls Republicans more than Democrats. Don't get your hopes up. They also had some polls Romney winning in 2012, and we know how that turned out.

Seems you missed my point though, that those households need some supplemental funds to stay affloat. The reality of welfare is that it most often goes to those who need it, and you have to either work to receive it or you have to prove that you cannot work via disability. It's far away from the Republican line where they whine about how welfare recipients are lazy bums.

Nice reaction image by the way. Reported.

Lol, totally. Personally, I like the pool of polls for more accurate feedback - but even with my girl currently leading, I don't put a lot of faith in polls overall.

It's going to be an epic popcorn fest when their Convention starts up.

Hillary has not revealed her running mate and it's just as much a mystery as Trump. If they both reveal their VP at the convention, do they both have an advantage?

No, Felya, obviously Trump would have an advantage because he performed a miracle by getting any other GOP member to stand next to him (except for his drone, Christie).

No, no.... Trump hasn't reveled his running mate because he's a shrewd statesman. Hillary hasn't revealed her running make, because she's devious and hiding something.

It will be funny if he chooses Christy or any candidate from Tri-State area of NY. It will be another flip GOP needs to make for Trump, in order to support two Yankees who are out of touch with real America.

He will need a major Dynamo for his running mate to have any chance at making even a decently competitive run against the Hil-dog. Christie would be such a "meh" that it might not even make the news.

How about Bloomberg? He seems to be the sort to jump on political bandwagons. Was a democrat until Gulliani, where he became a republican, when Bush soured he went independent. It's similar path as Trump, so if he is polling close to Hillary at convention, two billionaires running as common man would fit.
