PSA: Being a volunteer is no excuse to make a shite job of it.
Americans seeing themselves as the superforce of this world.
Of course, that's not with everyone, but the stereotype image gives me that.
Much love to Indicate for creating. Eis' work
Vocal minority, just as you Americans also have vocal minorities.
"In order to maintain a tolerant society, the society must be intolerant of intolerance." Paradox of tolerance
We have more lefties than USA, and they tend to hate everything that hindered the glorious Soviet world revolution. USA may have its lefties, but at least they are American lefties.
Personally I quite like the US. I have lived there, it has never wronged my country, and it continues to keep some of the world's worst shit at bay. I know some morons (who can shove their worthless opinions where the sun doesn't shine) consider this a cliché, but the whole Europe has USA to thank for its freedom.
...and now it seems that we are messing up our things again. Sigh.
I rarely interact with Americans
It's because:
our cars don't have boots and bonnets.....they have trunks and hoods
we don't take the lift up to our flats....we take the elevator to our apartments
we don't leave our cars in car parks.....we have parking lots
fish and chips are fish and french fries
crisps are potato chips
biscuits are eaten with dinner...not something to dunk in your coffee
coffee is more popular than tea
round abouts aren't that popular here...cause too many accidents
see what I mean? The US is the rebellious teen that left home and GB can't ground us...there fore it gives them reason to dislike us.
Happy 4th America!
Don't think so, the dislike of American politics is widespread. Here it is atleast.

He overthrew the democratic elected government.
And how does all that just justify all the torture and killing those who disagree with him?
There's so many American's that believe in God. This baffles us.
There's a lot of aggressive Christians. I.E. Christians preaching God hates fags etc. Basically insane Christians, similar to ISIS. This scares us.
Also, the gun fanatics and fat pride movement's are pretty scary.
The fact that Donald Trump is in the race to become president of the United States makes me question the overall brain capacity of Americans that vote for him.

Don't like the politics, don't like politicians, don't like the culture, don't like the attitude, don't like the history, don't really like any part of it. Pushing shit like the TTIP, GMO's, 'freedumb' and the constant tune of "We're the home of democracy, the land of the free, the best country on Earth to live in, etc, etc..." only adds to that.
However, while I feel an intense dislike for all of the above, I feel strong sympathy for the many sensible and likeable Americans who are trapped in the US. It is out of respect and sympathy towards them and all that they have to put up with every day that I try to keep an open mind whenever I run into an American, rather than automatically assume I am dealing with a typical " 'murican ".
Im gonna lay it all out here, so you can be mad but im just telling you as it is, as ive heard.
People ive talked to here in nordic countries view US negatively for 6 major reasons.
1. Arrogance, belief that they are so right and that they have the right.
2. Ignorant in many things about what their own country, elite or government does, and ignorant of other nations. Lousy schooling.
3. Always at war somewhere, always at someone else's turf either coercing, invading or blackmailing via politically, financially or militarily. In other words, bullying.
4. So many of them are highly conservative and religious, but in an odd, cherry picking and sometimes fanatical way. And it shows even in their politics.
5. Paranoid about social democratic ways that could so much help the poor and suffering, but dont want the change. Ie. Loss of social empathy.
6. Gradual turn from a democratic nation to a plutocratic oligarchy. Money talks over peoples voices.
Otherwise its not so bad. US have done many great things and inventions, but theres much room for improvement and fixing.
And many of these problems exist here too, or in Western Europe generally, tough maybe not so visibly. So its not like were perfect or something, far from it.

how can u not use the metric system
also your health care is the worst
I mean we passed marriage equality, which is a good sign. Still, even as a guy who lives in a small town with at least one church per street I don't feel like I'm in one of those "radical" areas. My guess is they're like animals, only violent when they feel threatened.
I really pity those states where that's invaded the public/private education system.
To this day I still can't memorize feet --> miles.
It's simple. You do something stupid, people call you out on it. When the US does something stupid, or an american does something stupid, everyone else in the world shakes their head. When someone somewhere else in the world does something stupid, americans shake their heads. There's nothing more to it, really.
Even the whole "we're #1" thing doesn't phase most people.
