This is a way to get people involved and hyped up.

I mean Blizzard acted about how they should have in the situation.

They told you it wasn't a pre-patch announcement.

They told you it was a beta key giveaway that involved streamers and 'bounty hunting' (I probably would have called it a scavenger hunt, 'bounty hunting' sounds like something passably fun)

That's about as close as they can get to giving it the attention it deserved and no more.

Everything else was everyone else ignoring the facts given to invent what they wanted.

Paula does make some good points about the title and what it could possibly represent. 'Demon Bounty" doesn't = Beta key giveaway with your favorite streamer.


Also, the guys from Blizzard did state the *Demon Bounty* was not the pre-patch, but I don't remember them confirming and or denying it being a beta key giveaway. (Just from what I've seen)

I don't know if Blizz specifically said it but the beta key thread knew from somewhere yesterday. The post I saw was unsourced.
