G.net just updated to background download a 20GB patch, more than likely the pre patch. SOON is a fair assessment.

It's not a hard and fast rule, but generally the PVP season ends when big class changes happen; something that potentially changes class balance. Historically, major content patches coincide with the change in PVP seasons. Originally Posted by Wildpantz

they have been telling ppl for a while legion is coming plus they done gave one warning with cm ending soon

Even though we have this patch downloading now, I'm still going with the date of July 26th myself. I'm hoping that it comes out on the 19th, but I'm expecting 26th. I expect we'll get the announcement about the PvP season ending date at the end of this week or early next week. There's nothing to do but sit and wait and see.
