The fact that he gave keys away for donations is worse than an accidental adult content slip. Then again most streamers are just pseudo-whores in disguise so I'm not surprised.

I never said it was, I just said, I wouldn't argue that it was intentional. Never free of trolls and morons on the internet.
I was asking about something formal. there is no apology or statement on Swifty's Facebook, Twitch or Twitter and nothing from Blizzard addressing this.
I personally enjoy Swifty I used to watch his PVP videos all the time, I even made <The Swifty Fan Club> during the the gnome invasion event he held on Staghelm?? back in CATA.
I'm just saying; the longer they wait to address it the worse it could get, you think Blizzard will care to protect Swifty? if anything I see them throwing him under the bus but that is just my opinion.
And that is a problem why? Promotion of the game, marketing, all add to the playerbase. That's a good thing.
Randomly selecting accounts for beta flagging doesn't guarantee they are reaching interested testers. Getting people into beta who will sit for hours watching streams for small chances at beta access? Pretty much guarantees you people who are excited and motivated to experience and test the game.Beta was supposed to be about testing, stress testing and find bugs and glitches not about inviting people with some huge apparatus for publicity reasons, unless of course the game has seen all the testing needed and they are just wasting time to release the game when they said they would.
I dont; have a problem with any of it... of course... I have beta access so I may be seeing things from a much less salty perspective :P
People who are complaining about this are the worst sort of nagging busybodies. It was obviously an unintentional mistake that could easily happen in this kind of live event. Does it constitute a lack of diligence? Maybe, but only in a very minor way.

It's too cold outside today! Fucking Blizzard...
A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.
Yet people demand an apology from Blizzard for making a mistake.........huh.............the hypocrisy levels lol.

His brain should have told him to not put it on stream without looking first.
History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people - Martin Luther King, Jr.
This feels like holding the candy store responsible for finding a razor blade in your Halloween candy.
Couldn't help but to think about when Brad Pitt's character put frames of dicks in kid's movies, in Fight Club.
Anyways, selling/giving Keys to donators. Now there's a legit concern, I really hope Blizzard won't just ignore this incident.
The streamers should have been checking the hashtagged images off screen. Simple solution really. I pretty funny that this happened though. I should have hashtagged some totally irrelevant stuff.
Swifty had no real control over what people what people tweet and did not expect people to do such a terrible thing. After it all happened he corrected what happened and became more careful of what he did afterwards. This also prompted other streams to also be careful as there were people doing this.
It is a shame that this had to happen but swifty tried to get it off of the stream as soon as he noticed it and then corrected the problem afterwards. People seem to think that everything is 100% full proof but that is not how things work with everything all you can do is learn from mistakes and correct it.
World of Warcraft is a T Rated game if you have a underage kid playing it then it is your fault if a event like this happens. If blizzard says sorry for anything then they pussed out. I get why swifty should say sorry ,but honestly don't. Not sure if his twitch channel is age gated ,but even more of a reason to not give any fucks.
I don't know what did or did not happen... but I was not impressed with Swifty's "Bounty". I tweeted my image and left.
I liked most of them.. especially Bajheera and Slooty. I liked that they gave some out because they personally liked the images, and did others purely random.
Sparty's was "more work" having you kill various infernals across Azeroth, but each location he specified was another chance to win. Again, my first reaction was.. UGH! But to be honest, running things at at the same time he did with his impromtu raids (never did get in fast enough to be in HIS raid) was fun. I mean I was actually enjoying being a part of the activities.
I am thankful that Blizzard chose this avenue for community fun and chances at BETA, in addition to their random beta wave invites. Yeah they had other motives... but it's a win-win situation... (unless you didn't win.. jk lol)
The expansion is on the foreseeable horizon... and the pre-patch just around the corner. No need for all the extra salt.
