No, it's the Twitch Terms of Services, smarty. By using it, you are agreeing to be exposed to the element of human nature, which in some cases includes people being twats and trying to troll streamers so that they will accidentally expose their viewership to something they shouldn't be able to see.

You are expected to partway take responsibility for yourself, and if you're using Twitch, either to view or to stream, you are agreeing to that.


Regardless of what you think Swifty could have done to avoid that.

I know ToS and Laws exist for websites and anything related to it, I was merely questioning/sarcastic asking Plague if it was because "it's the internet", which I knew isn't true.
I never said I like/dislike what has been done (which I even stated in a previous post) but that rules (whatever they are) should be followed and it's to the appropriate instances to see if any have been broken. We (viewers/readers) have close to no say in this matter and in general lack the information/knowledge to make a proper comment, hence why I don't add my own opinion on the matter since I lack the information regarding those matters.

One is neglect is either unintentional or intentional neglect to take a precaution on a streaming site that exists fully well knowing that the randomness of human nature could lead to things like this and expects the user to be able to accept taking that risk.


The other is going on a streaming site and exposing your genital area to the people watching.

My 5 year old loves to watch me on the computer playing games and browsing the internet and from time to time something "odd" happens on screen, it's the internet.

For a parent to QQ about internet content it's just naíve and stupid. Quite honestly the blame is mostly on the parent. First for being naíve as to think that an internet gamming stream won't have trolls/profanity/random content/dubious publicity, and secondly to even think it's child will never see that again soon either on school, internet, TV or taking a peek at it's parent's bedroom keyhole.

Kids are much much much smarter and stronger than you think. Being on the forums QQing about this kind of things is laughable and so naíve it makes me feel sad about the parent who realy thinks this kind of things are of any importance watsoever.
