wrath and sloth
All of them except Greed and Sloth. And with Pride.. 50/50.
"You can wear whatever costume you want for Halloween and it's totally cool but here's a list of costumes I'll shame you for and call you sexist and racist if you do wear them"
- Laci Green 2015.
To me, sloth is the hardest. I have to push myself every day to exercise because I'm tired (I'm an insomniac). Its just so tempting to sit on the couch and play games or browse forums that I find myself constantly telling myself I have to get up and move.
None of them in a particularly bad or even noticeable way but if I had to pick one it'd be Wrath because I have a low level of patience for stupidity and have actively committed vengeance and retribution before.
Don't really subscribe to the concept of sin but as 'vices' probably Lust, Pride and Gluttony. Love sex (maybe too much), think highly of myself (maybe too much) and love to eat (maybe too much).
I am not very wrathful, envious or anything else.
I dunno? Sloth maybe? But i can still feed myself and keep the house clean... Pride? Academical failure. Greed? Very likely, since i really do want a girlfriend.
But wrath? That was a good expansion.
I think it's lust and gluttony for me. But neither of them get in the way of me living a healthy life, so it's all right.
Wrath, the gradients of anger and to which such situations can occur, leads for a more compelling story.
Albeit, i think not all Sins are isolated in a vacuum. You can cry tears of rage, for instance. Or tears of joy. You just gotta be creative.
Gluttony for me. I do love bakery goods!
If anything, probably Sloth. I have a hard time motivating myself to be productive at times, and tend to try to get away with as little effort as possible.
Other than that, none really. I generally try to be a good person.

Call it a sin or a vice or a smoogiboogiewoogitydoo ... it's pretty hard to argue against the fact that these 7 smoogiboogiewoogitydoos are ultimately bad for society.

I've mastered pretty much all of them except sloth. I'm extremely restless and have the attention span of a goldfish.
I'm the root of all that is evil, yeah, but you can call me cookie.
Pride and Envy.
My envy to others hurt my pride deeply, even if I'm proud on other things I've accomplished.
Much love to Indicate for creating. Eis' work
Well "extreme" is a relative term .. so it gets slippery. Not to get too religiony (because I know many people can't handle that type of discourse), I mean, even the most dogmatic Christian would agree that all of these are human nature. The fact that these are human nature is WHY we'd need religion (would be their argument). They call it "original sin."
Now to your point, I can only answer for myself. But I would probably have a lower threshold of what "extreme" is than the current western culture with which I am most familiar. For example, I think pornography is one of the single largest threats to our society right now (and yes -- I've looked at it, I am tempted by it, it's appealing, it's a struggle, etc). A lot will say "it's human nature" or that it's harmless, but I think we will find out in the next 20 - 30 years just how bad it is and what kind if problems it will cause.
On the other hand, Lust--it could be argued--is just the biological imperative to reproduce and keep the species going (and even Lusting for "attractive" people could still fall in line with this argument for passing on more desirable DNA). Even cheating on your wife could be argued as human nature--the biological imperative to thrive. Shit, even rape could be seen as morally OK under this lens (there's plenty of rape in the animal kingdom, after all). I could argue that the only reason anyone could be against Lust is because of purely arbitrary social constructs. Same with these other "sins" or "vices"
So I guess my short answer would be: who decides when it's just man being man and when it's "extreme"???
