Just going to assume the people that have an issue with it have thoughts of incest, or underage shenanigans. Why else would anyone think a kiss on the lips would be some kind of bad thing?

I get a bit uneasy with these; But a cute pose for a picture or whatever, doesn't really phase me.
After a certain age though, the easiness grows into creepiness. I never grew up with social kissers though, so I'm severely biased in the matter, regarding non-romantic kisses.

I think its really freaking weird, a friend of mine kisses all her family on the lips , brother, sisters and they are all 28+. I come from a family that does not hug even though

Funny this came up in my family the other day, my mom was making a big deal b/c my brother (nvr ever expected him to do this) would kiss his daughter on the lips. And I was like we do it too. Just a cultural thing I guess. It's not really a big deal unless it's prolonged or giving tongue.

There's nothing weird or wrong with that, same as public breastfeeding.
