Well he is pretty much a super model chasing, loud mouth asshole so, you can disregard anything religious. Sure, he says he goes to church. Knowing him, its the right church with the right people to glad hand. He was pro choice until about 3 minutes ago. He believes in tariffs, which puts him left of Hillary on trade; he is basically a protectionist/the antithesis of a free market capitalist. His tax plan had lower taxes for poor people than Bernie, not sure on Hillary's plan (I only include this because you might think that conservatives want higher taxes on the poor, not because they actually do).

Those are just a few off the top of my head without looking at his whole platform online. But, the notion that Trump is some sort of staunch conservative belies the way the establishment Republicans have been straight freaking the fuck out for months now. No self stated Republican or Conservative would call Trump a hard liner.

His merchantilism includes the entire abolition of NAFTA and other trade agreements, including declaring a trade war with China. His ideas on free trade run against every economist out there. His Tax plan is a massive cut from whatever tax plan anyone has proposed and could lead to a deficit of 9.8 trillion dollar even if we give him the benefit of a dynamic model, he also wants to abolish EPA and flat out denies climate change. All of his policies make no sense whatsoever, not sure what you are trying to say when you say when you claim he is moderate. He seems a loonatic if you ask me.
