Clean UI has ceased to exist?

Good day.

So today by mistake I completely deleted my Interface folder (shredded it with anti-virus).
Used data recovery tool but for some reason it didn`t work. So decided to go manual and install every single addon by hand - no biggie.

But then I realized that I can`t find this addon package called CleanUI. Nowhere on curse, nowhere - as if it didn`t exist. That`s the name the folder had and how I remember it being called.

Here`s what it looks like (disabled changes on chat and some others things) - for reference.



Would really appreciate help, feeling lost without it.

If CleanUI really has died, are there substitutes for it that look like it? With the same modifiability.

Here is the best I can do for you. I was able to track down a Google cache of an AddOn called CleanUI that used to be on curseforge. Here is the Google cache link:

The links on the page go to 404 errors, but the author Nirriti is still active. If you click on Nirriti's profile, you will find that there is apparently a new AddOn that replaced CleanUI. The new AddOn is called Masque: CleanUI.

Looks like you need an AddOn called Masque for this to work. I'm guessing the Legion changes will break CleanUI to the point where the author didn't want to bother with it, and found a way to get the effect they want from Masque and their plugin for it.

Ok. Here you go. I managed to dig up the download link for the last version 6.2.2 using the Internet Wayback Machine. Even though the Curse pages are dead, this link still seems to work, but get it fast before it disappears. Also, back it up on a USB key or something to save it for the future. Maybe you can contact Nirriti to ask why the AddOn was removed.

Damn, thanks for the work - but the last link goes nowhere.

Guess I`ll try to find another UI or just stick to Blizzards default until Legion raiding hits.

If you click on Nirriti's profile, you will find that there is apparently a new AddOn that replaced CleanUI. The new AddOn is called Masque: CleanUI.

Masque is an icon skinning addon, usually for buff addons or action bars/buttons.
In that case the author has created a skin for that addon.

That's the least "Clean" Clean UI I've ever seen.

Search curse for "clean", and look at the addon packages.
There are plenty more examples.

Have you ever tried bartender and movie anything. You can easily configure a ui like the one in your picture with those or any other ui style.

I still recommend contacting Nirriti (http://wow.curseforge.com/profiles/Nirriti/) to ask why the AddOn was pulled, but you should be able to download it at the TinyUpload link I provided above.

Deathly in love with RealUI since MoP but I'm always open to new UIs. I didn't see any screenshots for the one you just linked, or did I miss something?

I couldn't get REALUI to work, for some reason it kept telling me that there was a dependency missing, it was the very first one starts with a !Aurora_. Even though this was installed in my interface folder it just wouldn't load up.

Oh cool. I have a friend that refuses to use anything but the default UI, this might be up their alley.
