I'm still curious why you chose as an avatar the symbol of an avowed socialist internationalist party if you are mostly an incrementalism and centrism kinda of guy.

Given his stated stances in the past, he'd prefer something closer to that, but goes for practical choices that we have over idealistic choices we don't. Same as me. Wishful thinking is a privilege that is only enjoyed by the sheltered, the young, and the inexperienced.

No third party candidate has had and will have a chance at the Presidency until one of the major parties dissolves or loses the majority of its supporters.

Why would you want that corrupt monster to win? She is literally the most corrupt person to ever run for president.

Personally I know I'm likely to vote for Hillary simply because she represents the status quo. Trump would bring change, but it wouldn't be good change. It would be the kind of change that puts your country in the opposite direction change. I'd prefer having the status quo for 4-8 years rather than a non-political radical created policy that he dreamt up last night.

I know a lot about Trump. When I was growing up I was interested in business and he was pretty much my idol. Until I learned that he had absolutely no morals what-so-ever and would do absolutely anything to advance he personal agenda. Which I feel like he is doing now. I don't really think he has any interest in "making America great again" I just think as he is getting a little older his accomplishments don't seem so big anymore and he wants to make sure that he has a legacy secured in history.

If you're at the least curious of what I'm talking about I recommend reading Art of the Deal, written in 1987 which was an account of his daily life throughout his business deals from Atlanta City to Trump Tower in NYC.

I mean, is it any surprise...Jill Stein's/Green Party politics are nearly identical to those of Sanders...that being said, I very highly doubt Jill Stein will get enough votes to affect Clinton's electoral votes in the general election.

Right, my best hope is we at least get 5% of the vote for federal funding, which this very well could do. I expect 3rd party candidates to get record votes, but not enough overall to do anything. I'd expect Johnson and Stein to pull in a combined 12-15%.

I really and confused why people can't understand the concept of if people who hated Hillary and Trump actually showed up and voted against them a 3rd party person could win. This would require people to believe the 3rd party could win and people actually showing up to vote. We have a low voter turn out.

Groupthink is more likely to happen in an attempt to actually bring about change in a system where a single voice is effectively meaningless, such as the Presidential elections.
