Bernie Sanders endorsing the bankers' candidate, proving he stands for nothing. At least Ron Paul didn't sell out.

And those that don't have the nomination from a major party also have no chance.
Your vote doesn't make a difference voting for one of the two major candidates either. Crazy to see groupthink in action, though.

Personally I know I'm likely to vote for Hillary simply because she represents the status quo. Trump would bring change, but it wouldn't be good change. It would be the kind of change that puts your country in the opposite direction change. I'd prefer having the status quo for 4-8 years rather than a non-political radical created policy that he dreamt up last night.

I know a lot about Trump. When I was growing up I was interested in business and he was pretty much my idol. Until I learned that he had absolutely no morals what-so-ever and would do absolutely anything to advance he personal agenda. Which I feel like he is doing now. I don't really think he has any interest in "making America great again" I just think as he is getting a little older his accomplishments don't seem so big anymore and he wants to make sure that he has a legacy secured in history.

If you're at the least curious of what I'm talking about I recommend reading Art of the Deal, written in 1987 which was an account of his daily life throughout his business deals from Atlanta City to Trump Tower in NYC.

See there was this thing called the primary, it was where people could vote for the candidate they most backed and feelings of "Well I have to vote for this candidate or Trump wins" would not be present, or at least not nearly as strongly as it is in the general. While Bernie got a huge number of votes, Hillary still beat him out.

And you can't even say "Well they only voted Hillary cause they thought Bernie wouldn't stand a chance" because Bernie had a huge lead over Trump in head to head polling against Trump.

You're basically screwed no matter who you vote for, may as well vote independent.

You see we have this thing called Register voters who don't like either candidate but they are too lazy to go out to vote or don't think their vote matters.

Right, my best hope is we at least get 5% of the vote for federal funding, which this very well could do. I expect 3rd party candidates to get record votes, but not enough overall to do anything. I'd expect Johnson and Stein to pull in a combined 12-15%.

Yeah, key word a solid IF. If a lot of things would happen then we wouldn't even be having this conversation. Sorry, but I live in reality. Reality is dictating that Hillary is the best we have to offer right now. Sad as it is.

The reality is perception, by both sides believing you cant change anything they will always in.

Then why didn't Bernie win the DNC? Don't blame me, my state won the Bernie primary and I voted for him. I voted for the first time ever.

The reality is that Bernie couldn't win it. Jill Stein has no chance in hell. Again, giving your vote to Stein is a vote for Trump.

Besides low turnout of voters? Besides super delegates saying they will vote for Hillary anyway? Besides a 3rd party candidate could take combined votes from the left and right?

To bad we dont have this kind of debate over candidates for congress, you know where the real power sit's. None of these people running for president are going to do shit other than what they are allowed to do by congress and the supreme court.

Johnson will take from Trump mostly and Stein will take from Hillary, neither will get more than 5-8% of the vote with Stein taking less because she cant even get on the ballot in all states.

I really and confused why people can't understand the concept of if people who hated Hillary and Trump actually showed up and voted against them a 3rd party person could win. This would require people to believe the 3rd party could win and people actually showing up to vote. We have a low voter turn out.

Groupthink is more likely to happen in an attempt to actually bring about change in a system where a single voice is effectively meaningless, such as the Presidential elections.

She'd be my first choice if she had a reasonable shot. But she doesn't.
Bernie is now supporting the very ideals he has fought against. Nothing's gonna change in the democratic party just because He's endorsing hillary, they'll continue to ignore any of his ideas and will continue to suck the dick of wall street.

The reason to vote Hillary over Trump is simple. Hillary supports ongoing efforts against the greatest calamity of our time, whilst Trump dismisses it as a blatant hoax to gain voters.

OP seems to be on a thread-creation spree. What gives? Lots of them with very similar topics of discussions at that, and without any original content at all, just quotes and links from various news sites and YouTube clips. For example, this couldn't possibly have fit together with this thread you just created?

If you are a Bern man, how do you sleep at night knowing that he stood AGAINST Corrupt, Wall Street, Status Quo... and that is Hillary to a T? I could never have voted for Bern (Since I have basic math skills) but I honestly admired his standing firm... #BernSoldout

Sanders was middle-right... so no wonder why anyone who is a bit left now has nothing to vote for.
