Yildirim says "it would be wrong to call it a coup" but that there has been an attempt by "part of the military".
He describes it as an "illegal attempt" to seize power.

Ataturk established Turkey as a secular state with a Muslim majority and relied on the military to guard it. May their aim be true.

I have family in Turkey and they tell us that everyone hates what Erdogan is doing to the country. Turkey is fiercely nationalistic and they're not going to sit back and resolve a corrupt government "democratically"
Looks like the military has finally gotten sick of Erdogan's shit.

if this is some Erdogan's play then bad days ahead us.because whenever something like this happen (looks like "outside" of goverment",its usually serve AKP's politics.bigger events mean bigger changes to the country.but then this man again pushed the country to its edge just because his power greed.he fucked this country and we wont be able to recover over atleast 15-20 years.damage is just too big.
