I honestly liked Tama-chan and Rena more. But well, whatever.

I truly thought I would like Rena at the beginning, but by episode 10 (haven't finished yet), she's actually pissed me off more than anything. Though not a hate her piss me off, but a "the other characters are better than her" type.

Oh shit it's out. Hype.

Battery (another sports anime airing this season) also seems pretty good. It feels a bit different than the usual "super power" shounen sports, and more like Ping Pong the Animation.

I enjoyed it too. It feels like it'll have far more going for it than the average sports anime, that focuses way too much on the sport and the insane amount of dialog that somehow happens while they're playing.

I actually debated linking that in my, "What I know about Haruhi" post as a joke. I think it's been posted a few times as well, but you're right: it's brilliant.

The best thing about it is that it's actually really accurate in portraying Haruhi if she were a crack shipper. Very loyal to her actual character.

Seriously though, I think Jojo's is pretty solid. Personally, I'd consider it a lot better than DBZ (If we're comparing it to other popular typical shonen mangas), but yet people will still defend DBZ to the death about how "amazing" it is. That being said though, it started off as "I'm just watching this to see why people like it", I didn't really start enjoying it until like, Stardust Crusaders (Which seems to be about the spot that it does become more liked).
