yes, we can complain that mastery is priority low, but crit was always one of the best stat. damn this is like the "fantasy class" is watching the recount damage instead of read the tooltips, silly...
Which is weird, because assa is topping it. Id think people would be glad, instead the important part is the color subdivision of the number one spot!

Also yes, tier greatly reduces how much of your damage comes from rupture. I guess if there is cleave, rupture will always be most of it still. But single target with set bonus and legendary evenom and mutilate do pretty big % of your damage too. Sounds good to me. Also once you hit a certain crit level, mastery becomes better, because you envenom more often.

Well. Some of the classes really did benefit a lot from the Legion redesign. But IMO Rogue - which was among those who needed it most - isn't one of them.

All I can say about Outlaw is that it's a missed opportunity. I don't really get their thinking behind the whole thing. It's actually not that different from Combat as it is now, and it's still a surprisingly mundane and outdated feeling playstyle. The biggest difference is this odd pirate theme around it, which I guess is a matter of personal taste, but really feels silly and alien to me.

Assassination is similar to live, just less interesting (Dispatch is gone, Poisons have taken a back seat). Now what was that all about?

Sub is, well ... it's OK I guess, but I wouldn't really call it better than live - it's just different - and there are definitely other melee specs that I'd much rather play.

So, all in all, I don't really know what their thinking was. For some other classes, I can clearly tell what the design intent was and in what direction they wanted to take the specs , but Rogue still seems as directionless and awkwardly conceived as before.

I'm obviously talking just about gameplay feel and mechanics, not the performance.

setbonuses and the fact that exsang will be outscaled eventually mean rupture wont be that much% of your damage

I enjoyed combat and sub on beta. Haven't tried assassination much, but it felt very slow to me, lots of empty gcd but it's been a while. I liked it enough that I am switching my main from Ret paladin, which feels just awful on beta.

actually the best talents should be agonyzing, not exsanguinate

they killed Combat with this shitty Pirate stuff
they killed Sub by making it even more of a Joke
they killed Assa for me by removing dispatch.. with it it would be fucking awesome

    Yeah good Job

Normally, 3 points after a sentence mean that the sentence was meant to be ironic or sarcastic. If it wasn't, than i have to apologize.

As always preach is basingoing this of very minimal testing and far more of backwards estimations. Play the game yourself and make your own decisions. Remember this is the guy who said tanking is too easy now without having a single tank spec pov video up since December when the alpha started. He is not a reputable source for anything serious.

I agree with Preach but if you don't and love one or all the specs, this is nothing to be all offended by, like some of you seem to be.
If anything, it's good that few players play rogue as you'll never have to fight for spots (well, maybe against DH) and your class will no doubt be sought-after. It's no the performance thats bad after all, it's that some players find rogues boring to play.

It's for the future, exsang is good on short fights, but agonizing should be the better choice for most encounters, at least for ST.

Why are so many people bummed about dispatch being removed? That ability was boring as shit.

Same reason people are bemoaning sub - rose tinted glasses from being spoiled during HFC. Class trinkets(ass and sub), ring, soulcap, They've all come together to put the pussy on a pedestal. It's tough to think of them without the big dick buffs from hfc gear.

Preach did a lot of testing.

Unfortunately we can't say the same with you.

It could have been worse and another 5.0 but it still feels bad, because it is is bad.

Most of the talents for the three specs are weaksauce.

It doesn't show... all 3 of is rogue video were shit... in the sub one he spend more time on the color of the spell than on the actual gameplay... I had some respect for the guy but this expansion he did shit video... I understand that he doesn't like the change but he makes no good point and sound like a cry baby with no argument...

Yes all 3 specs have flaws but there is really good foundation for all of them.

Instead of spending the time on the specs to find what is and what is not working he just say it's bad... I understand the guy doesn't have all the time in the world but don't argue that he did crazy testing when he CLEARLY didn't...

Cloak and dagger is hilarious. Hitting a dummy is totally not. (Disclaimer: this is an opinion and should not be treated as if it in any way resembled a fact.)
