I just don't take pictures of myself and most of the people I know don't take pictures often either. I have to say though I was surprised by how acceptable I look on that latest one of myself, lol.

I didn't watch the episode in full, just specific bits and the end, 'cos I wanted to see how they did with introducing the Hakugei (White Whale) but, there are at least a couple big things you can get from this episode. Specifically related to the ending, actually.

Potential Re:Zero novel spoils - I guess it causes people to dissapear and their existences to be forgotten? Or hallucinations/illusions perhaps, that the whole convoy was just subaru and Rem hallucinating or being stuck in an illusion.

The first spoiler in this quote is about half right. Re:Zero LN/WN spoils Essentially, the Whale (Hakugei) is the source of the mist (called the Mist of Elimination), which is actually it's modified mana, which can "erase" people and everyone's memories of them. The Whale can do something else to that effect but, I won't spoil that bit lol

Damn lol. Does Subaru escape the mist, or does him getting 'erased' count as him dying and resets him?

Yep, and it could be a tight squeeze lol That's why they take OPs and EDs out of the episodes sometimes, just to fit stuff in. It's a good arc to end with, though.
