Samsung 850 EVO is a benchmark. If you can afford it there is no reason to go cheaper.
Can pick an EVO up for £39 (used)... assuming its worth it then. Why's it so much better?

850 evo isnt the budget pick. You can find 480 gig ssd's for under 100 bucks regularly, cheapest ive seen was an adata for 89 bucks a few months ago. Id stay away from anything called silicon power tho.
