After reading this, I am actually fairly angry. To think that something like this was allowed to go on for so long, and that when the dad finally decided to put an end to it, (without the use of violence) he was sentenced in court. Truly despicable.

This angers me, mostly because I know how utterly useless schools are at dealing with bullies because I was one. It took a parent threatening me and getting in my face for me to stop and grow up, while the school officials sat around and did nothing but give me detention. Even as someone who has experienced threatening behaviour from an adult as a child, I consider this fathers behaviour entirely appropriate given the circumstances and I think he made the right decision.
